There at least 7 different rating systems. Each system has their specialty but their functions often overlap.

The most popular ones are CVB (This is mostly for dramas airing on TV),
Yunhe(mostly for calculating the market shareof made for streaming dramas), Maoyan (mostly for calculating box office profits and movie tickets sales) and Kuyun (calculates both TV and streaming ratings).

I wanted to give Du Zheng the benefit of doubt because I really thought he seemed to be uncomfortable and unaware of his sister's hairpin scheme to marry Lin Jinqi but he's just as bad as his sister.

Did anyone else notice in ep 9 that when Yuchan was talking to Lanxiang and the other 3 maids that she made statements that looked like it was foreshadowing their futures because of the way the camera focused on each of them as she spoke. Lanxiang becomes free from indentured servitude, Xiaolian and Baogai get to choose their own path and who they marry but Gantang meets an unfortunate end

He did get the divorce without causing a scene because the only witnesses were her father and brother who already knew what was happening. He also had the forethought to send Scholar Shouyi out of the library and also asked for a mutual consent, no-fault divorce so that no one outside the both families would know exactly what happened between him and his wife

I wonder if it's partly because a lot of people shipped Liu Xueyi with Zheng Hehuizi after In Blossom and since they're reuniting here, the shippers transferred to this drama and are trying to start a ship with the FL and someone else

She was the only one putting that library to good use 😂😂

He has negative points in my book for apparently forcing the FL to marry him but the jury's still out on his character

Nothing screams new money like a huge library of ten thousand books neither you nor your sons even read Lol

The background score for this show is just so good, especially in the scene where Lin Jinqi confronts Zhao Xingtang at the library. It adds so much to that scene.
