Episode 34 was really hard to watch. Cui Lin's character needs A REALITY CHECK. For the past few eps, her character…
Li Ni has the patience of a saint because any other ML would have thrown it into her face how everything happened because of her and how she needs to suck up and face the consequences of her actions
CL pushed LN into becoming the crown prince due to her schemes and he abandoned his desire to retire to Laolan pass and even lost his friends because of it. I don't understand why she's throwing a tantrum because her family was asked to disband their army so that she can be the crown princess.
She's supposed to be a realist and a military strategist, so I don't believe that she didn't foresee this situation and that she honestly thought she wouldn't have to make some compromises in order to marry LN. What happened to her father is sad but at least he's alive unlike LN's friends and not once did he ever blame her for starting off the chain of events that led to their deaths.
Someone said this drama prequel goodbye my princess, this is true?
Yeah. According to the author's post on weibo. Li Ni fulfilled the former crown princess's wish and made her son- Li Xuanze his heir and he eventually became the Emperor. The ML in GMP is Li Xuanze's grandson
I'll pay for his ticket back to LaoLan Pass. I don't even care.
It won't be the peaceful retirement he envisions because his brother and LCF would go to any lengths to eliminate him. Staying at a remote border with an army still makes him a threat to his brother and being alive still makes him an obstacle to LCF's plans to marry CL
Wow this episode was heavy! What a brutal way to drive home the point to Li Ni that his carefree days are over and he can never return to Laolan Pass. Even if he does, all his close comrades are dead and it would never be the same.
I hope this isn't one of those dramas where the 2nd lead redeems themselves by sacrificing their life to save the one they love after being evil throughout the series because I want that unfilial and ungrateful bastard LCF to be hanged, drawn and quartered. After that, his remains should be gathered and his bones should be burned, ground up and scattered to the winds.
So Li Jun commits arson and murders so many people in the process and all his father does is to send him to his room for a timeout?!! How does that even qualify as a real punishment?
I'm starting to dislike how they always make CL a damsel in distress to be always saved by LN her knight in shining armour all the time. She's a capable commander and knows how to fight. LCF isn't such a formidable opponent that she can't escape him on her own
I wonder if XW keeps his hair down (unlike the other guys in the show) to hide the birthmark behind his ear proving that he's the real XDF or if it's just a choice by the stylist
Why did they kill Chen Xing?!! I really liked him and looked forward to his scenes, almost cried when he died…
It still makes me annoyed when I think about how the sickly young master received more serious life threatening wounds on two different occasions but is still alive unlike Chen Xing
I really love this life's Yan Lin. Their goodbye scene made me sad that it didn't work out between them but I understand how JXN wouldn't be able cope with the trauma he inflicted upon her in her last life
It's not that Li Ni too oblivious to ignore Ms Gu's intention in pursuing him, more like he already clear where…
I'm suspecting Pei Yuan likes her. He stared at her some type of way when she came to thank Li Ni for saving her from Han Li and he also praised her embroidery skills
Ep 19 and 20 were really good. The emotions were raw and present! We've gotten into the era of the show where…
That portrait definitely is going to be the trigger for any misunderstanding between the leads over Miss Gu. I almost expected Cui Lin to stumble upon it during her visit but it's good the writers decided to allow them to bond over Lord Liang's treatment of Li NI's mother instead
You know you have a great Emperor in power when the first thing he thinks about after ascending his throne is how the curtains need to be changed because they're old.
