Good review! I rated it 9.5, but I understand some of your lower marks. I, too, was impressed with the female roles in this one: literally without exception they were well-written, intelligent, and respectable.
And Kang Ki Young is my bro! I love that guy! Welcome to his fan club. ;) Although he won't be as physically attractive in it, I strongly recommend you check out his first ever pro acting gig, High School King of Savvy. That's where I became his fan, plus the show is sneaky awesome (just give the female first lead a few episodes to grow on you). You're already watching Weightlifting Fairy, so just put this one on your list too!
Good grief, what happened here? I just wanted to find another Shin Sung Rok drama and all of a sudden I'm reading about MBC apologizing for insulting a fictional religion or something? WTH??
Super sweet drama with all the right amounts of fluff and a proper not rushed last episode. I do like how they…
The fact that he was completely alone for 15 years has a lot to do with Min Kyu missing the obvious truth. So he WANTED to believe, and when you want to believe something, you'll ignore all evidence that contradicts it. Really well written.
