At around episodes 28-30, this really had the potential to become VERY interesting and actually say something important about love, relationships, and how people deal with them.
Instead, while having a lovely cast and some good scenes, it's generic and makes no sense. 6.5/10. Dropped.
This.... is the best review you have ever written.
I will say this, though: like the Helicopter Rooftop Scene from Doctors, this show does have the Train Kiss Scene, so the Rewatch Value should at least be 1.5. Let's be fair.
Also, like Nurse Cutie Pie from Doctors, this has Kyung. So that's something, too (despite her being sort of dumb).
Honestly, that feels like it as far as praise goes.
So I have to find out, have you progressed to watching kdramas on your own? LOL
NOPE! :D
I've watched a handful of movies by myself, but never a whole drama. I TRIED watching this one by myself and lasted 10 minutes before deciding I was wasting my precious life.
I said that because he cheated on his wife. I hope he doesn't do it again in the future...but habits are…
People always say this dude cheated on LMJ, but I've never seen any proof of that. Yet people say it like it's a fact. Not saying he did or didn't, but just surprised at how many people think they know for sure when really, as far as I can tell, we don't know anything.
And, let me just say, LMJ is like my favorite actress. I am ridiculously attracted to her and adore her in both dramas and interviews. But I'm not going to pretend like she didn't know what this guy was like before she married him. She should know better than any of us pathetic internet gossipers if he's a loyal man or not.
amnesia... fxxkin amnesia !!!!!!!! and what happened to the meteorite ??!!! .... aaaaah at least we somehow do…
I know this comment is 3 years old, and i DID like the show, but I just wanted to say that I completely understand the feelings you've expressed here. :P
One of the best wrap up ending from a rom-com!!! it was detailed and even let us see more way beyond after!
Yes! Every drama needs to follow OMV's structure: hit the climax two episodes before the ending and use 2 episodes to wrap everything up and pack it full of awesome character moments so we can properly say goodbye. Especially when your ensemble cast is as good as OMV's is.
I have read the majority of the comments here, and it's funny how people who love this drama really love…
Geez, I want to reply to all of this but you've basically said everything!
You're so right about Episode 2 and the scenes in the hotel. When he "rescues" her from that disgusting pig that she liked and then the two of them commiserate on that balcony... it's so beautiful. That was when I fell in love with Gun myself. I was already in love with Mi Young from literally the opening credits. Jang Na Ra in those dorky glasses is the best thing.
I stalked your list after reading your huge comment and noticed that you haven't officially given this a 10/10 rating on MDL yet. Get on that! Then make sure all your friends do the same! :P
I don't think I've ever seen my wife cry so hard at a drama as she was at the end of this one. IDK why, I wasn't nearly so invested, but boy did it get to her. Take that for what you will. Great, fun drama with an excellent cast. Writing didn't always make sense, but it didn't matter since it was such a funny and sweet show.
So apparently this dude won the Top Excellence Award for his role in Doctors at last year's Korean Drama Awards. Someone wanna explain that one? I honestly don't even remember him in that show.
Since no one else has mentioned it: My Lawyer Mr. Jo! She brought so much joy to the screen in that one and capped off an already perfect ensemble cast.

If you're talking ratings, though, probably not. For some reason, no one watched the first one and I can't think of a single reason why.
And sorry for replying like 9 months after you made this comment.
