(Q: why are people comparing this drama to heirs? Why are they comparing Lee Minho to Kim Soo Hyun?) I cant wait…
soumatra2, they are both old school actors and yes, they are solidly good actors. unfortunately, in the late 20th century to the current, many actors depend on fangirlism to garner support - some more than others. LMH is one who should have stayed in modelling and never entered the entertainment industry. the young man could not act to save his life! there are a few I could name who have a large fangirl following, regardless of how bad their acting turned out to be. On another hand, there are actors who are idols but they can act - these are the true "all rounders".
SueWhat -I agree Heir is lame without even watching it. When I see LMH and all the idol lineups they have for the drama, I knew it's just a commercial exercise for the fangirls.

Excuse me??? In what planet does Lee Minho compares to Kim Soo Hyun? The later is a much better actor while Lee Minho depends on his looks and fanbase (and hype!) to pull through with the ratings.
1. Hubby held a file and newspaper over our heads once when we were caught in the rain with no umbrella and we ran together for the car.
2. No eggs and pot - but once I almost got hit by a car while walking and talking to my mobile and my hubby pulled me in, saving my life! Got a scolding after that, of course.
3. We went to a small south pacific island that can only be reached by boat scheduled at certain times and we shared a room together... for our honeymoon.
4. No kidnapping but hubby always call to check on me.
5. Meet my hubby when I stayed at his parents' for the holidays. Family friends.
6. No amnesia, but gotta do the housework all the time - still in love and happy.
7. All my best pals are men.
In conclusion, all of the listed fantasies came true for me. :)
With Vanesss -he did Autumn's Concerto before Material Queen. Me thinks Autumn's Concerto was his only redeeming work. Any work of his before and after Autumn's Concerto (to date), you can do without. I call him the "one hit wonder kid" and his one hit wonder is Autumn's Concerto.
FINALLY! Someone writes about this drama! I have been telling my twin to watch this for ages! Once she does, she will probably feel cheated off all the months that she could have already watched it! haha Where chinese historical romance dramas go; this one is a very close number 2 to Startling by Each Step (Bu Bu Jing Xing). I even went out and bought the whole DVD set for it! It's THAT good!
Wanna watch an idol actor who made the right choice not to star in this drama preferring to go for another with better storyline? Then, watch "Marry Him If You Dare". I must say, this time around, Yong Hwa made the right decision by rejecting Heirs.
Propofol is a dangerous anaesthetic even in the correct hands. This is the drug that contributed to Michael Jackson's…
I reckon she should not have used propofol to start with and not merely "should not be caught using propofol". The only guarantee that you will never get caught using it is not to use it in the first place!
Appropriate. It's about time we crack down on drug abuse amongst celebs and hand out significant punishments to deter other celebs. Another area of increased awareness nowadays is on the over-use of surgery to acquire beauty to the point that everyone you know has similar noses, similar large double eyelids and similar cheeks (standard looks). One way is to encourage and increase the demand for natural beauties. This is important as many of these ppl have young supporters who will emulate their beauty standards and characters. As public figures, they have the responsibility to promote a positive and healthy image and set good examples. This comes with the job. If they are unable to clean up their acts, then forget about being a celeb. Ppl need to realise that every profession comes with its own criteria, expectations, responsibilities and ethical considerations!

I am not 100% chinese but I've spent 10ish years in the 70-80s working in hong kong and china, hence fluent in mandarin and cantonese. Lois Cha is the author of Legend of Condor Heroes, Return of Condor Heroes, Heavenly Sword & Dragon Sabre (these are "trilogy"), Demi-gods semi-devils and many many more. All of his work were turned into wuxia series. Would be good if you can read chinese but if you can't, no worries...most of his novels were translated into English and you can find them online.

I've watched all of those and more- even those way back in the 70s, 80s & 90s; down to the most current one. Currently, following the progress of Demi-God and Semi-Devils 2013. I am die hard Lois Cha fan! :)
Lovesick is a MUST see! Thanks for the recommendations!

Taiwanese are from Taiwan and Mainland dramas are from mainland China. Although both speaks mandarin, they have different accent and most times, production quality. What wuxia series have you watched?

No probs. Just call me Ari. Read your profile. I think we have similar taste in dramas and anime. I read manga too. Most times, I prefer Taiwanese or Mainland dramas. I started with HK dramas too. Most importantly, I am a die hard wuxia fan. :)
Just post a message yesterday in response to the writer recruitment thingy about wanting weekend movie picks to be back and what do I get...??? Weekend Movie Picks! YAY! Bless you twinklelie!
Binnie is taunting me! Argh! What a way to gain attention!I'd put my hand up a while ago but had to put it down soon thereafter...so I am not confident if I would ever contribute to an article! Work's taking over. I'm more of an impromptu writer...I write when I feel like it, or when I have time or when I am seriously drunk. :) So, yeah... I'll leave it to the others to step up. One thing I do miss though (and always looked forward to reading) are the weekend movie suggestions. Best thing ever to help me unwind for the weekend....was to check out or re-watch the movies in the weekend movie suggestions! Think you could bring it back??
You can drop him or Ayaka a message via twitter to show your support. They are quite active there. He replied to my tweet twice, in English; but then again, it helps to be somewhat of a recognisable author myself. The man writes and as another writer to another, we simply acknowledged each other. Truth be told, I am more an Ayaka fan than his though I do watch all of his dramas. A talented fella.... though I cannot understand his fixation with butler roles......LOL
