You should watch Run On, it also has a great and healthy relationship between the leads.
It is indeed unrealistic here, but I like to suspend reality in shows like this. Slice of life like Run On are great but sometimes I just like to go to a fantastical world where such things exist.
Okay i just had to reply cause Pride and Prejudice is my favourite thing ever! I loved the book and i rewatch…
The one with Anna Taylor Joy? I have and it wasn't bad but it wasn't as great as I expected. Anna Taylor Joy was great as Emma, the art direction and costume designs/hair & make-up were great but that's about it.
Oh shit I just recognised him. He was on I Can See Your Voice as well as a contestant. He was scouted by SME but he didn't accept their offer to audition as he wanted to focus on his studies IIRC.

That was a really bad adaptation. I couldn't take it seriously and I found Sally Hawkins to be a huge blunder of a casting.
I actually think that suit Elizabeth. I always saw Elizabeth as a tomboy-ish, rebellious young adult in the novel so I adored Keira's portrayal of her. She's also a slightly contemptuous and petty, which I liked. I personally thought Ehle didn't look Elizabeth's part and thought she was a bit too "classy" and mature to be her lol Either way, aye, agree to disagree.
Cher's "As If" definitely deserves a placement in AFI's quote list! The movie has so many other quotable lines.

Someone needs to make a proper adaptation of Persuasion for my sanity, or I may lose it since it's my fave Jane book! haha
Yes, I have seen the series. I didn't like it as much as the movie sadly. While I loved Colin Firth as Mr Darcy, Jennifer Ehle left me wanting more for the role of Elizabeth (I still love the actress though!).
Clueless was marvelous. Alicia Silverstone's portrayal of Cher was iconic and it still remains my fave Teen movie of all time, ranking even above the likes of Heathers, the Breakfast Club, Dead Poet's Society and Mean Girls.

I was actually replying to Nity Sultana not you lol
And I was a book fan before I watched the movie! I think the movie portrays the book beautifully. There no other Jane Austen adaptation as good as the P&P movie imo The Emma movies were especially disastrous (except for Clueless, that movie's amazing although I wouldn't consider it an adaptation of Emma personally). The closest I could find was the Mansfield Park with Frances O'Connor and even that wasn't as good as expected, sadly.
Sports drama are just love. We need more Sports drama (and Horror dramas like the Guest) in Kdrama world. There's so much barrier to break in these genres sadly Kdrama writers and directors don't seem to care except for a few.
It's China so there's not gonna be a BL show like this unless they change the law and unless CCP becomes more LGBT friendly (aha pigs will grow wings before that happens).
Hate the ending to this tbh Wanted a good ending and was sorely disappointed. The two guys had incredibly sizzling chemistry. Probably the best ever I've seen in a Thai BL.
