Yep. It's like the significant other means more to them than their own lives. I need more dramas that depict these type of relationships and what's even better about this is that it's not toxic, they understand each other and there's trust and immense respect.
This show is what us 2nd gen Kpoppers never wanted but needed. More reunion episodes please, so many other 1st and 2nd gen Kpop groups are still out there ready to be explored again.
I can't find a drama where the leads have such incredible dedication and unconditional love for each other like this. So rare to see such pure love. Wish they'd make more of it.
Netflix is really spending huge amount in kdrama . Although they suck at season 2 or always cancel good storyline…
Netflix last year revealed their plans to increase spending in Asian markets as they're gaining stiffer competitions in these regions. So it's not just SK, but also other major markets like India, Japan and the South East regions. They're specifically hiring smaller known writers and directors and giving them a platform for storytelling. Which is great.
Underrated slowburn. It's very well written and performed. YKS has starred in a similar drama (Crazy For You) and he nails the role in both of these shows.
I first saw him in Day6's Congratulations MV. He caught my eye there and I then watched Hogu's Love and became a fan instantly. He was adorable as Hogu, it was as if the role was made for him.
Melodrama by definition is supposed to be overly dramatic and exaggerated. For e.g Shakespearean plays, soap operas etc.
You cannot watch a melodrama and except it to be calm and without over expression of emotions.
