Exactly. Good storytelling does NOT need long ass episodes. Look at HBO mini-series, most of them only go like ~8 episode and end up being narrative masterpieces.

Yes. The anime's even more campy than this. If you have seen the Kuroko No Basuke anime, then it's similar to that (both the anime and this show). The hyperbole is intended.
