Or maybe it'll give GMMTV motivation to create shows aimed towards gay audiences rather than fujoshi fangirls. This is undoubtedly the best BL GMMTV has produced ever. It's a really well done show about a man's growth from a spoilt rich brat to a man. GMMTV needs more shows like this, where fanservice isn't a focus.
We're polar opposite. There's a bunch of upcoming dramas that I'm anticipating and I didn't like Vincenzo at all.
haha true. Honestly, I'm not a fan of SJK at all. I was skeptical before I even watched it and in the end, ended up painfully disappointed by it. Prolly gonna avoid all of his future dramas from now onward.
Main problem with this was that slow burns usually don't work well in romance genre esp if the writing isn't good enough. If this was faster paced, the writing flaws could've been easily overlooked but due to it being so slow, the flaws become far more obvious than usual. I remember I watched it back when it aired and I kept waiting for something to happen and every episode, nothing happened. It was so frustrating watching the flashbacks. The show only became watchable around episode 8, when the uni days finally was the primary focus.
Also SYJ and Jeon Mi Do??? CANNOT WAIT.
Both the lead characters are batshit crazy and that's what makes them really likeable. Cannot wait for the next episode.
