I disagree. The 2nd male lead was manipulative, not just outright type. He knew the FL loved the ML and not him and she even told him she wasn't ready and didn't love him, yet he kept helping her whilst telling her he loves her. That's guilt tripping.

Honestly I don't like the 2nd male lead (Tai Chu). He was a perfectly nice man, but he felt very manipulative to me, intentional or not intentional. He kept helping the FL and proclaiming his love for her, making her feel guilty the entire time for loving the ML and not him. It's a subtle kind of emotional manipulation. It's surprising to me that not many people saw it. He should've backed off her the moment she told him she wasn't ready but he never did :/

Also why are people around Qianyu so annoying. Everyone around her from her mum to the staff seems to be around just to create more mess so she can clean up after them. She was a nice girl, just surrounded by annoying, brainless, daft friends and family members.

Earth is actually feminine as well,. You don't have to wear female clothing for it. His mannerism and the way he expresses things are very feminine, he's not a "ladyboy" for sure but he's nonetheless feminine in comparison to other guys. And I'm not talking about him on shows, he's like that during interviews and all as well.

I forgot to mention, Gameboy also has a feminine character and he's not used for comic relief. He appears during the special episode focused on Terrence.

Yeah, it is a form of abuse indeed. People tend to overlook men as the victim of abuser as guys are expected to be stronger, it's a sexist view. Guys can be victims of both physical and mental abuse. KJH had a mental breakdown and health problems and left the drama mid-way. He was obviously a victim of mental abuse.

You should know that, this isn't the only time SYJ is getting accused of abuse. That was like 8 months before the KHJ-SYJ scandal broke out. And she has also been accused of bullying and forging her degree. In light of all these accusations, it's VERY difficulty to dismiss them. This reporter's accusation is very difficult to shrug off after the KHJ-SYJ texts came to light because they reaffirm each other. Which leads me to believe that it is indeed true.

Notice the stark difference in people's judgment during this and the KHS case? Like sure KHS was far more openly aggressive and toxic, but the double standard still remains.

Cast can't save a movie like this. They have what? 120 mins or 150mins runtime? With these many characters the storyline can never be fleshed out properly. If one characters does get decent development, you have to compromise on the screentime for another character and they get left behind.
