I think the show translation incorrectly uses the word "Psychic". The Korean term they use is "영혼의" which does not mean Psychic but rather translates to "Medium". It kinda bothers me as someone who knows Korean to see an err like that lol
On topic, Jang Nara is the MVP. I think she suits this role more than any other role she has ever done before. The dark make-up and the full black attire she wears is a big thumbs up.
One thing I wish though is that they did is put a bit more focus on the shamanism and mystical aspects of this. Korean/Asian Shamanism is a fantastically fascinating thing and it disappoints me when they don't explore it much. I'd love to see the topic being a central focus of a drama in the future and not just be used as a plot device.
I'm 29 episodes in and all I can think is why is it so long? It is overall interesting with a good amount of subplots…
Almost every Chinese drama that goes over 20 episodes are like that. Like sure many of them are interesting enough, but they no business being that long whatsoever when they can do the same show and make it even better at a shorter length. Sadly, there seems to be a mandate from network or something IIRC to make long shows like these.
They change minor things though. Adding romance to this webtoon would be a major change and I've never seen a webtoon adaptations make such a major change before.
y'll would heil arrogant ML but hate arrogant FL.... and for what ? for carrying her investigations XD
Because the writers meant for it to be that way. The writing focused on getting revenge on the criminals from the very beginning, making us root for the Taxi company despite them not being lawful. The show is basically showing us how futile system is often and without breaking the law there's no way to get justice. So it's making us root for them, but she's the main thorn at their side. She's trying to prevent people from getting justice, letting criminals go free. Ergo, she's written in a way so that people dislikes her character. It's what the writers intended.
The more I watch this, the more it reminds me of the anime -> Jigouku Shoujo but without the supernatural elements. The moral complexities the show puts forwards are far more nuanced than the anime though.
Kim Young Dae's having an amazing year. Penthouse series and main roles in 3 other series. It's his year, prolly the biggest breakout star of the year fr

That doesn't even make sense since many synopsis here are copy pasted.
Oops I confused them since they have similar names. I know, but your synopsis said "Phichetchai trusts Sirin so much", so she could probably his confidante as well, someone he can trust enough to share things with.
I am one of those. I am a woman that every night walk with the mobile phone in the hand ready to call police.…
Thanks for proving my argument.
Go back and watch the show. YS was clearly intoxicated and incapacitated. He could NOT even move throughout the act and had to be dragged to his bed. And he could only put pieces of it together after waking up.
Also do not forget the fact that his brother got him drunk with the clear intent of having sex with him. That right there is actus reus.
SO before you try to lecture me on what the definition of intoxication is, go rewatch the scene. Also I did not label anyone anything, I called out the people who were okay with getting someone drugged and having sex with them.

Do you know why laws exist against driving under alcoholic influence? It's because you cannot control your actions or your mindset. When you're drunk, you're not in your own mind. You do things you wouldn't do normally. It works the same way in a sexual assault. If someone uses influencing substance on you for the sole purpose of having sex, that IS rape. Do NOT change the definition of the word just to fit your idea of what a rape is.
With your ridiculous idea of what a rape is, most of these rapes would not be considered such.
Also 2gether is irrelevant in this argument. I don't like 2Gether for a variety of problematic reasons. Most BLs have some form of sexual assault or harassment in them. Just because other shows have them being portrayed in a romanticised way does not mean they should be doing the same here.
You being a woman does NOT excuse your horrible view of what a rape is. It's completely irrelevant in fact. Like I said come here when someone gets you drunk and has sex with you without a consent. Whether you like them or not is irrelevant if you did not want to have sex with them. And the fact you're defending this action makes you a rape apologist. The fact you're using you being a woman to dismiss an act is rape is like a racist guy saying "I am not racist because my friend is Black".
Cannot believe it's 2021 and I have to educate some rape apologist who happen to be a woman on how rape actually works. smh Learn what a drug/alcohol-facilitated sexual assault actually is - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Drug-facilitated_sexual_assault and educate your warped sense of righteousness. Until then I'm not arguing this with you. Bye.

That's better. They prolly didn't accept it because it was too long though. It could do with brevity since it's a summary:
"The story of a woman looking for clues behind her sister's disappearance and a son trying to find out the cause behind his mother's sudden death. Nabi's sister Sirin worked for Phichetchai and was a close confidante of his. She disappeared suddenly on the day Phichetchai's wife, Weeranat died. Now Nabi and his son Kawin look for clues behind the causes of the event."

Drug/alcohol facilitated rape is the most common form of sexual assault - https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3115538/
In fact, 75% of all the acquainted based rapes are drug facilitated - http://www.fris.org/SexualViolence/DrugFacilitated.html
