I liked the brother-in-law being gay storyline the most here. In a country like SK, the amount of closeted gay men trapped in a straight men could probably be a lot. So it's a nice exploration of realism. Everything else fell flat after the first few episodes. Jaeshin's character was a pos from start till end. I had so much hope for Lee Joo Bin's character, yet she turned out to be the typical neurotic SFL who can't handle the fact that the guy she likes doesn't like her.
Have you seen her in "Just between lovers"? She was great there, and very likeable... but I get what you mean,…
It's nothing to do with her but rather the script. Melting Me Softly was just a bad drama, no matter who played her character that drama was hopeless. Even Meryl Streep wouldn't be able to save such a bad show. This show's not that bad but the characters aren't that great either. Her and Lee Joo Bin's character are really weak characters, so they come off as unlikeable. Given the right script, she can do a great job. Take Just Between Lovers as an example. Life was also good.
1st episode was decent. It was rather toned down, which I liked as I expected it to be more over the top. The premise is similar to FUTS, but just from the 1st episode it feels much better done than that. I'm definitely continuing.
Is it just me or do their uniforms here look more snug and better fitted than a general Thai BL? Usually I've used to seeing pants that are longer than necessary and cover the top of the shoes and socks. But it feels more casual here due to ankle length pants and lack of socks, I liked that change in detail.
My only problem would be the inclusion of annoying shippers (again). It's like these shows can't do without these annoying bunch.
BTW "See Bom as more than just a junior?" synopsis seems wrong. They seem to be in the same year, Bomb isn't a junior.
I think it's both a prequel and a spin off. Prequel because the time setting was definitely earlier than GGS1.…
GGS was the main show, semantically it cannot be a "spin-off". Spin-off means derivation/branching works of already existing work. GGS1 cannot be a spin-off to this one because this is the derivative work, the branching show. If anything, this is a spin-off if it's not a direct continuation.
She doesn’t need Hollywood. She’s famous in China.
Easy to cast off judgement behind a keyboard while in another country. The top celebs in China are expected to speak out against dissent unless they wanna get punished by the public themselves. They don't have a choice.
I SERIOUSLY hope they'll focus more on the Shamanism and mysticism part in this show. So many similar shows have completely missed the mark by neglecting those elements and focusing more on the investigative parts (a recent example would be Sell Your Haunted House). Loads of international viewers are highly interested in those elements and it'd be fascinating to watch them. And I really really hope this is a dark, mature show rather than being aimed at teen audiences. These two have the acting chops to carry out a show like that.

Mess of a story.
Frustratingly sluggish.
Skip please. Not even worth a skim.
