Can people stop trying to muzzle the thoughts of people? People have the right to express positive and negative…
"If other shows have similar bad scenes/bad character behavior and people don’t call out on it, does that mean it is okay? Two wrongs don’t make a right. And yes people can make mistakes and they can change and own up to it."
Problem is every negative comments is completely ignoring the flaws in those dramas and coming after this one with negativity. There's nothing learned, no mistakes that's being owned up. People are staying hypocritical. Can they leave negative comments here? Definitely. Should they be taken seriously? lol No.
Someone listed a bunch of the highest rated MDL dramas below with problematic scenes that almost no one ranting here has any problems with. These people have no right to speak bad about other shows. Period.
Some morale for this comment section: Something I have learnt in drama /movie /tv watching is getting to know…
-> The dreadlock scene at best is cultural appropriation. It's not a racist scene. The guy isn't blackfaced either, he's just a very naturally tanned guy (Look up his pictures, you'll see how dark he actually is). -> There's no paedophilia involved here. The Korean age of consent is 16. The character is 17. The actress is 20. Heck 17 is legal in even most part of the countries like the US. People are complaining for the sake of complaining.
Thanks a lot. Checked it and I'm totallye in love. Are there other youtube channels like this with English sub?
Dingo Drama, Lululala Story Lab, Studio DIA, tvN D Story, Lifetime, Cheezefilm, AsianCrush, KOK. They all have Webdramas and short stories. All subbed.
Thanks. I am not sure whether it was your intention, but thanks to you I understand the idea of the flies. The…
Korean word for pervert is 변태 (Byeontae) actually but yes Sseuregi's also commonly used. And the character is portrayed as garbage. Which is why flies are surrounding him.
Serious question because I'm interested, those who are upset with the kiss in this, where you as upset as the…
lol Good question. I guess people have selective biasedness towards everything. There are many dramas where a sober character has a kiss with a drunk character. By definition that's sexual assault. These people complaining are hypocrites really.
One of the best webdramas I've seen. Short and sweet. I especially liked Kang Yul in this. He deserves to diverge into mainstream and do network dramas.
People are complaining not because of her real life age but her character's age (who was still in high school…
Age of consent for sex in SK is 16, but legal age is 19. But it's a bit more complex than that. It's considered statutory rape if a guy over the age of 19 is in a relationship with something who's under 19.
Ignore the SJWs. They're looking at Eum Moon Seok and saying he's black facing just because he has dreadlocks…
Your over sensitivity is showing. Dreadlocks is NOT a black thing. It originated in Hinduism and is now in multiple cultures. Learn history and stop being outraged over everything. Not everyone out there is out there to get others.
I will say that the webtoon is bad but the series is not they are trying as much to show the viewers a good scripted…
She was not an adult in Love in the Moonlight, her real life age when she filmed the show was 16-17. Note, we're applying international standards here because the age of consent in SK is 16. My point is people weren't angry back then when the age was a real problem, but why are they angry now?
People are complaining not because of her real life age but her character's age (who was still in high school…
Fully agreed. I'm in the same boat as you. I cannot find an excuse to justify Love in the Moonlight, it's the main reason I don't like watching that show.

That's a fair analysis. I think the director could've avoided the main problem with this by just removing the kiss. Or by changing it to a cheek kiss. Considering they're both f age here it doesn't bother me as much as Love in the Moonlight personally.

Finally someone who has eyes and brains. I'm tired of repeating this. The guy's naturally tanned. Here's an example of his natural complexion - https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/proxy/4b9t5-PQi3wpZoGZyS0YhKwB4a2okP4pUSZUaNTXnLNa5ePAT8o5sFOPgmjvZh7iYSq0Em3uIOZrsrtIkJwVfPuwe1ogVJv3wRTW56-j3D0-VRwU

They have NOT made him any darker in the show. People are being creatively whiny for no reason.
