I will say that the webtoon is bad but the series is not they are trying as much to show the viewers a good scripted…
The scene was inappropriate I agree, but it also really showcased people's hypocrisy. She was 17 (IRL age) when she filmed Love in the Moonlight but people think it's like this amazing historical drama that nothing compares to. But she's an adult here (IRL age). If the former wasn't infuriating to them then why is the latter?
People are complaining not because of her real life age but her character's age (who was still in high school…
The real life age should take priority over character age. She was underage during Love in the Moonlight, no one cared. She's an adult here yet all hell's raised. It's just plain ignorance and double standard.
wow, i casually open MDL to see whether this series worth the watch and i was shock with 1.0 rating. ok, did not…
Ignore the SJWs. They're looking at Eum Moon Seok and saying he's black facing just because he has dreadlocks lmao He's naturally dark skinned like that (watch him on Tell Me What You Saw for e.g).
lmao we shouldn't give any chance for racist contents, bye
First of all I'd like you to show me where the black face was. Have you even seen Eum Moon Seok's face out of this show? He's naturally dark skinned. Secondly dreadlocks is associated with many cultures not just black, if it's appropriating blacks, then it is appropriating other cultures as well. You do realise Indians are naturally darker skinned as well right? With your logic, they're being racist towards Indians as well.
lmao we shouldn't give any chance for racist contents, bye
Dreadlocks isn't even a black style. Dreadlocks is a Hindu stye. It originated in Hinduism. If you think they're appropriating black culture you're wrong. Black face is definitely uncalled for but the dreadlocks is not.
IDK what you're talking about. Honestly the stares the two actors shared throughout this show beats even the best…
The way Kang Gook looks at Taejoo, especially during that hair washing scene, and the judo fight scenes. You can easily feel the passion there.
SK doens't have a lot of BL shows, but there are plenty of BL movies -> Long Time No See (this is a mini-series not a movie), Method, Night Flight, White Night, No Regret etc.
Fair warning -> Expect unhappy endings for many of them.
Preferences are subjective and everyone is entitled to their own opinion but I think it’s the other way around,…
That's true as well. Sadly these BLs try to cater to these yaoi fangirls and end up sticking to the generic uke-seme tropes. I like it when BLs don't do that. One of the Thai BLs that doesn't fall victim to this trope was Dark Blue Sky (esp the Sun-Mork couple).
I find it offensive that some fujotshis despite being straight like seeing gay men being emasculated as a "wife". It's imo a form of passive homophobia tbh
The bottom being called "wife" is basically them saying that they're a women because they're the submissive one in the relationship. That's actually sexist too if you think about it because they're saying women/wives are submissive. I wish more BLs and Yaoi shows would use Husband&Husband. Yuri shows are incredibly rare nowadays on the other hand sadly. We need more progressive gay shows
Well since it's Korea, don't count on a happy, bright BL drama anytime soon. Maybe in 50 years. Sad.
Oh yes I know about that. Cha In Ha's death was devastating, I was (and still am) a huge fan of him. It's so sad and tragic.
Yes, Love with Flaws was one of the rare major mainstream dramas with a gay couple. Sadly they weren't the main focus. Be Melodramatic also has a gay couple, but then again they weren't the main focus.
Koreans, normally they do about 1-hour episodes, but BL? 10min:D It feels more like an experiment... but they…
IDK what you're talking about. Honestly the stares the two actors shared throughout this show beats even the best Thai BL dramas especially the stares by Kang Gook. Also Thai BLs are fun but they're really badly written and produced most of the time. Even the best Thai BLs are tame in comparison to Korean BLs. The only problem with Korean BLs are they never end well. Other than that, they're better written, better acted, better produced.

Aye. You nailed it.
Thai BLs are also highly emasculating due to their obsession with uke-seme tropes and the whole "wife" calling. Saying that as a bi guy myself. Like seriously there's rarely any Thai BLs where there's no obsession with roles. It's annoying.
I cried at the ending!!! Omg what a perfect drama except it was TOO F**KING SHORT OMG!
Seriously why couldn't this be longer T___T
It definitely raised my expectations of BLs so high now. Also can we just talk about how hot Jang Eui Soo looked at the end?? Seriously he's hella fine, why isn't he getting more lead roles???
if u missed between 10 and 15 then you've actually missed many things :|
IKR lmfao He missed the most important parts of the story and says "didn't feel like I missed anything" that's complete BS. Episode 10-12 are the most pivotal parts.
