This drama was going so well until that nonsensical boxing match scene between Bohn and Ram. I couldn't help but groan and facepalm with despair. I hope this is just the only low here.
That has to be one of the most rushed and disappointing ending tbh I do blame the pandemic as well, but it still makes me sad at the state of this drama. It started off so well, definitely one of the best BL of the year but then it completely went downhill at a very rapid pace nonetheless.
The biggest crime was the unexpected SaifahZon's abandonment as well as the random Blue-Dew & Tanthai-Japan relationship. Tutor-Fighter fans can't help but rejoice though. All in all a big disappointment that start of well but lost its way in the middle.
I suspect the main reason for the series' indifference to physical affection (let alone intimacy) is because it…
Exactly. The characters were Stud-Earth-Sam (I had forgotten their name, so I went with their real names, and even I forgot the guy who played Sam LOL).
Definitely, it was full of gay physical action. So I wonder why they're not going the extra mile for this.

True GMMTV puts a brake but GMMTV has gone beyond that before for e.g Friendzone with the whole Pluster-Singto-the other guy (omg forgot his name) triangle. We don't even need or want that, we just want some hints. They're reluctant to do even that. Forget hint, a kiss or two would work too. But they aren't doing that either except for that peck back in one of the earlier episodes.
Can we not have any drama with Sarawat-Tine? I want fluff and maybe a kiss!
Also 2 episodes left, when will we get Man-Type development????
All in all, really good show, best BL of the year tbh (alongside the much underrated My Engineer). But I do wish it hadn't removed/changed many elements from the novel. For e.g Sarawat's constant proclamation on SNS with typos (those were really fun scenes in the novel). Also the whole Tine's first confession to Wat back in the club could've been done better (like in the novel, they both confess at the same time).
Yes, completely random especially the last scene. It's not even a question of missing scenes or lack of character…
It's a colossal disappointment. The writer and the director only cares about Fighter-Tutor now. It started off so strong, but it completely went to hell after episode 7-8 with the disappointment peaking at episode 9-11. Episode 12 was kinda return to form but the whole Dew-Blue thingy ruined it for me, so random.
Can we have more MaxNat (Dew-Blue) please??? The duo's adorable. SMH What a waste. And they even have their own separate book. Why aren't they getting any spotlight -.-
I haven't read any webtoons so I can only comment based on the adaptations.
I'm a fan of the Rugal show. It's so unrestricted, I'm loving the usage of brutality in it.
On the other hand, Memorist was upsettingly disappointing. Formulaic and tedious. Not to mention the MC's lack of rational thinking bothered me. It was reminiscent of Catch the Ghost, just with a gender reverse.
The plot summary sounds like there will be a triangle/square though, but I'm really hoping is the LOW-KEY kind…
I'm lowkey hoping Song Jong Ho gets the girl. But I'm highkey hoping that if Son Ho Jun's the lead, let there not be any stupid love square/pentagon/hexagon as well.
Agreed. Any harem or reverse harem makes the lead character come off as disloyal, indecisive moron who can't stay loyal to the one he/she loves and is constantly hesitating between many prospect.
And exactly should not get that typical jealous woman role. She's capable of more and should be paired with Koo Ja Sung from the get go.
actually in dramas the good girl always gets the guy, the bitchy girl is usually the second lead
Not in every Kdrama. There are a few Kdramas where the main girl deserve some slaps. Like Cinderella's Stepsister. It's also a common trope in Makjang.
I'm slapping some people if this has some shitty love story like in the previous with YHM and SJH.
I hope it's SJH-Jo Woo Ri. Why can't Kdrama, at least the mini-series, have multiple main couples. It's such a rarity smh
On another note, in the Fairy Woodcutter drama I ended up shipping the two guys together because both of them had better chemistry with each other than the female lead.
