IDK. CJH suits this genre tbh I liked his romance dramas but I like him more in actions and thrillers. He suits the roles more.

Another reason could be they exaggerated her style here. Her style from her hair to dress up is highly exaggerated and doesn't suit Kim Hye Soo imo

Kdramas in generally use filters. Same with Chinese, Taiwanese and even Thai drama from what I've seen. You're only finding it prominent here because of her age.

It's not a soap opera/makjang, those are long ass 100+ episode dramas. And yes it's worth it.

Really good production and premise so far. Interesting isn't enough to sum it up. It's brutal af from the get go. So it's not for people with the faintest heart. Definitely one of the better dramas of the year.

I can't see any similarities between his other pics and scenes in ME v this pic. At first I thought it was another guy.

I used to like them too. But they did not need 2 whole episodes just to show them be lovey and dovey and making out because there are 3 couples in this (4 if you include Japan and Tanthai). The timing could've been used better to develop the other couples. The show has always been balanced badly throughout, there has been too much Fighter x Tutor and too less of the other couples. The only episodes which focused on SaifahZon were episode 1 and 2. After that they've been getting barebone scenes that lasts like 10mins every episode. Now from the teaser, even episode 11 seems to be centred around Fighter x Tutor. It's ridiculous. They've totally forgotten that both SaifahZon and DewBlue also have their own books.

The part where Tine confesses his jealousy. In the book it's so much better, they both profess their possessiveness out loud.

I mean I have nothing against fanservice if it's done in limitation but seriously 1 and half hour of fanservice is tooo foking long and a huge waste of time. It's almost making me dislike the couple.

Here's to hoping there's no love pentagon or whatever and no reverse harem. It'd suck to see a talented cast be wasted on a harem drama.

Koo Sa Jung should be paired with Dasom.

It's a fun drama. Cliched, typical but it's done well and keeps the interest.

The ending was so underwhelming though. Disappointing that Do Min Ik gave up his father's dream and his own promise yet no one acknowledged it and still kept judging him.

My favourite character was definitely Veronica Park. Jaekyung should've won something for this because her performance was beyond expectation. She outperformed everyone here ngl Disappointing that such a good actress like her doesn't get a lot of lead roles.

Have not seen any of this. Will check it out. Thanks for the list. I think XX should be here too. It's one of the best I've seen. Also Noble My Love, the show's 20 episodes long but they're really short and the production is rather sparse. Could've been better as a full 1 hour, 16 episodes drama.

This is still the best BL of the year. I mean the changes from book are quite disappointing, especially the club confession scene in the newest episode but it's still miles ahead of Why R U and UWMA in terms of performance and writing consistency. Loving it.

There's even a Dew x Blue ft Champ book. So there are 3 canon couples in fact. But this show is such a mess that Saifah x Zon and this couple barely get anything. It's basically Fighter and Tutor makeout session now.

This series has gone to shit. Both episode 9 and 10 were basically nothing but fanservice present there to throw Fighter and Tutor makeouts at fangirl faces just to make them scream. There was zero movement in storyline. Did they really need almost 2 hours to show this?? Seriously?? Also wtf happened to the other characters??? It's basically the Fighter-Tutor show now. Barely any focus on Saifah x Zon and the tertiary couple Dew x Blue is non-existent. So disappointing that even the author approved of this considering she has separate books for the other two couples. The director clearly doesn't know how to be consistent anymore, half the episodes now is just useless montages.

After UWMA, I didn't know a show that started out strongly could go so wrong but this proved me wrong.

Highly agreed. People think having a perfect memory is this blessing of a superpower. But it's not. It's a medical condition and it can leave deep scars because you won't be able to ever forget the traumatic images or memories.

I think the opposite of you. The age gap is one of the reason why this drama is working really well. The chemistry and the dynamics between the lead works due to it. MGY's character personality fits her real age and KDW's character personality fits his age. It sold me on this drama.

I was actually worried about the confidentiality. But I could understand why he had to break it as well. Especially since he knows Jeong Hoon is not one to gossip or do anything bad.
