The worst part about it was that in oh hae young the ML is not even that repentant and yet, she is ready to forgive…
Same for me. I hate that drama.

If you hate crappy FLs, I'd definitely say skip them lol It's not worth the anger.

IMO they'll suit the role because IMO Neither of them look like early 20s lol they look mid-20s imo
Can't help it. I once got attacked for stating an opinion, even though I said imo. Now I stress on that phrase.

I love both the original and this version. The story's just a touching one. I'd have preferred it if they kept the BL in both the stories though.

I haven't seen all of these dramas, but the ones I've seen I agree so much. Both the ML and FL in Another Oh Miss Haeyoung are disgusting characters and if they were real people I'd never associate with aholes like them. The ML is especially worse than the FL. They totally ruined that drama for me.

Here are some of my addition to this list:

Suzy in Dream High. I'm sorry, but I did not find myself empathising with her character at all. In fact I could see more of Eunjung's character's side than hers. She was a bitch at the beginning, and stayed a bitch until the final few episodes. I saw no character development for the entirety of the drama whatsoever until the end and it annoyed me.

Chae Soo Bin in Where Stars Land, especially near the beginning. She's an infuriating idiot. Impulsive, jumps into situation, gets herself in trouble and then blames people around her especially Lee Jae Hoon's character.

Another shitty heroine would be Moon Geun Yeung in Catch the Ghost. I stopped watching this show because her character made me wanna throttle someone. Similar to CSB, she's impulsive, rash, doesn't think at all and lands everyone around her into trouble.

Yoon So Yi in Goodbye Solo infuriated me with her constant change of mind especially near the end. If I was Chun Jung Myung's character, I'd ditch her ass in a minute.

Victoria Song in Find Yourself. Oh em gee, she's the epitome of a selfish character. She has no qualms against acting as someone else's fake GF, but she argues her actual BF over everything. And then she expects him to take her back at the end without opposition.

Gosh, I'm so old I started with Taiwanese dramas like Meteor Garden, Devil Beside You, and It Started with a Kiss...…
The production value was great for those drama during their time xD I wouldn't call it bad, just archaic.

I mean on Kdrama's side, BoF was among the best drama in terms of production value and style and flair. But now looking back at it, it's so cringy and awful. lol

It really is and it makes me sad but after watching so much, I've found that Thai horror is either a 7-10/10 or…
Yep. Thai horror when done right is superb, but when done wrong is SOO bad lol It's either amazing or terrible. No in between.

No problem! The first movie's standalone btw the 2nd and 3rd are connected though as the 3rd one's a prequel to the 2nd movie. The 2nd is amazing, it's so well acted and so well done as a whole in tackling the Asian black magic and curses myth.

Ohhh. Noted. IMO MDL is not the best place to scourge for popularity and quality xD There are so many bad dramas rated so highly, I don't even take the rating system here seriously anymore lol

Take it as if he's capable of taking animal form. He's not really an animal anyway if you think about it a little…
Honestly, if it was something like "He was cursed into a cat form" I'd be fine with it. But it specifically says he's a "cat that transforms into a human" instead of "human trapped in a cat's body" i.e his original form is that of a cat instead of vice versa. So that gives me an even ickier feeling lol It's prolly just me though. Just the image of the FL falling in long with a cat bothers me lmao

Tell Me What You Saw is the type of drama that gets better by the episode. It's NOT extraordinarily good or original or unique. But it makes good usage of the usual tropes and plotlines and packages it in an box of entertainment imo I'm loving it tbh

Actually, I always end up liking killers in most Kdramas for some reason xD I'll prolly end up watching it after exhausting my watchlist (which is huge rn oof).

Agreed. Thai Horror are underrated. I'd HIGHLY recommend the Art of Devil series as well.

It's one of the best Thai Horror I've seen personally. It's about curses and the topic's handled marvelously in the series. It's also incredibly gruesome and full of gore. The 2nd movie is one of the best horror I've seen personally.

Honestly though, I think "Shutter" is one of the most popular Horror movies out there. I think this list could've done without it, because if one's a fan of Asian horror, there's a very high chance that they've already seen Shutter. It's one of the staple of Asian horrors along the likes of Grudge series and the Ring series.

I am having the opposite experience. I'm loving Sooyoung in it. It's not an overdramatic role, so the understated and calming performance is what it needed. And I really liked her performance in the two episodes this week especially when she confronted the man who hit her mother. It wasn't overdramatic, it was melancholic and mature, just what I imagined the confrontation would be like. Like a closure for her character rather than revenge. I haven't seen Children of Nobody yet, I keep hearing mixed reviews on it. Some say it's good, others say it's really bad. IDK who to believe lawl

Second lead syndrome? What are people smoking??? We don't even get to see enough of the second lead to have a second lead syndrome unless you just fall for people based on their looks (which is superficial af).

There must be a cultural explanation for why the leading man in so many of these shows is an insufferable jerk.…
There's no cultural explanation. Have you read Western Indie romance books? The male leads and often times the female leads are also full on douchebag/biatch.

Title She Was Pretty Spoiler
I hated this drama because of the ridiculousness at times and the way it ended tbh I didn't like a thing about Park Seo Joon's character. Hwang Jung Eum's character should've ended up with Choi Siwon's character. They were a far superior fit.
