I disagree with people saying the change in drama isn't good. IMO It's very good. While I love the novel, it lacks dramas outside of the whole father thing and even that's not really dramatic. It'd not translate well on TV and it'd prolly turn out boring with like 69 episodes of just fluff between the two a la UWMA.

Watched upto episode 8 and I still have NO idea what Tar and Tum's characters are. Terrible exposition tbh No background, no premise, no nothing. They just come and disappear randomly. Superfluous, irrelevant characters. They could've used that screen time to develop some of their other, more spotlighted characters like Lhong or the Khlui-Seo couple instead.

The minimum character development in Type's character's also annoying. 8 Episodes in and he keeps touting his hatred for homosexuality till now. When will he get a new view of the world?? When will he develop??

On the upside, I like the jealousy-angst storyline they're going for. That's exactly my cup of tea.

I think it's because of the actor. IK a few people who feel the same as you i.e they feel Earth's acting is a bit too overbearing.

I have no idea what people are saying tbh Korn-In has no chemistry in my eyes. Every time the two comes on I end up fast-forwarding. I like the actors especially Nine but the couple is simply not doing it for me. On the contrary Dean-Pharm couple makes me giggle like a fangirl.

I don't mind the slow pacing of the show, I actually love the interactions. But I wonder if there'll be a S2. 4 episodes is not enough to cover the rest of the book and I would hate for this to end in a cliffhanger. Usually BL shows have annoying cringy female characters but Mannow and Del are such mood. Team-Win couple is a wasted potential, but I don't even mind since the main couple has a much more interesting premise + I'm not feeling ANYTHING from the two. Like the chemistry is even more non existent than Korn-In.
