Watched it on Netflix just today. It was good. Although the cliffhanger ending did not impress me considering we might never get a sequel smh I hope there's a sequel though. It's so hard to believe Roy Chiu's 38, gosh he looks like he's in mid 20s.
oh my god!!! i just finished this last few days ago... with those sleepless nights.... kekekkeei wish there was…
I find her cute too.
And omg yes! The Nationals in the anime/manga is jam packed with amazing matches. And we finally would get to see the true potential of all the Yu Qing (Seigaku in the anime) players at the Nationals.
Don't watch Where Stars Land. Trust me, Rowoon's one of the only good things about it. The main FL is soo badly written, she's the typical impulsive, rash, "act first, think last" type of character and when everything turns sour she blames the ML and others /ends rant
He's a complete bias wrecker yep. I actually first saw him in the variety show called Weekend Playlist and that's when my obsession started xD I cannot wait for more work from him. And I don't want him to solely focus on acting, I wish to hear him sing often too. He has a gorgeous voice, just the kind of voice that makes you swoon.
The original 2Moons show was mediocre and terribly paced. This is like thousand times better and in every aspect too. Anyone who still believes the original is better is being a biased nincompoop tbh The only reason to like that version would be the cast.
So incredibly boring. Slow, badly paced and soo mediocrely written. Some of the characters are so annoying and for a show with such a big cast, it doesn't use any of them properly. Bass' character is especially turning my experience sour and I would've been happier if they left him out. The only reason to watch this right now would be Kimmon and Green but even they were severely underused. Not impressed. Dropped it.
Way better than expected. The production quality is really good. The matches are choreographed really well and bar the dramatics, the matches feel like real tennis matches. Way better than the older adaptation (which were cringy). This deserve a place in one of the better anime to live-action adaptation list. I went in expecting not much but was warmly surprised by its quality. It's very faithful to the original series and besides the changes in names and places to fix the Chinese appearance it wasn't any different from the manga/anime. Also a high point of the show was the portrayal, the kid who played Ryoma (Lu Xia) was very on point. The calm, aloof expression and the monotonous way of speaking. Really good. While 40 episodes MAY seem long, but it's actually really well paced. You won't even notice the time.
Also the Li Na's surprise appearance had me shook. I didn't know she'd make an appearance. As someone who played tennis during school days and still follow the sport intensely, I loved this.
I love this BL. Jack and Zhao Zi couple had me giddy from beginning till end. Beautiful couple. Jack's smug smile had me falling for him hard.
Not just the BL part, but I also loved the straight couple (Hong Ye x Dai Yi). I really wanted to see more from them. I wanted to watch more, alas it had to end. I hope the upcoming History series will be as good as this if not better.
Not even. I liked the two leads in this, but saying another couple with better chemistry is impossible to find…
You're far too riled up girl, first caps and now nonsensical "fkdkkd" etc. I just made an argument saying I disagree, you're far too defensive lol Anyone can see that I'm not the one who needs to chill here. lawl
Just read the whole novel. There r 2 books. U will surely love it. It's really like this at atart but after that…
Lmao the OP is criticising the drama on aggressiveness and abusiveness of a relationship and you're seriously recommending the book? Which is x100 times more abusive than the show. Are we forgetting the fact that the first time "they did it" Gu Hai raped BYL hard enough to cause him to become unconscious and brutally ill for days? "Masterpiece"? No. Not even close, the bond the two leads share is incredible but the book has an incredible amount of flaws especially in its portrayal of what a healthy relationship should be like.
So today i heard a news from my chinese friend. He said he read from the author's official weibo that season 2…
This is true. The translator of Advance Bravely confirmed it too and I saw the post myself. I'm excited for it, I liked this one but a continuation was due. And since it's Taiwan, I have high expectations for it. There won't be any glossing over of the BL parts either. Although considering how long the books are I wonder if it'll be a long series or a series with multiple seasons.
