The leads have incredible chemistry and their progression is so good. But the show drags for way too long tbh
It's sad atp so many of these modern Chinese romances would be top tier show if not for their length. They run for far too long so the writers and directors end up dragging the show with filler contents and just ruin them in the process because there's just not enough story to justify 24-30 or even 30-50 episode runs. Can these Chinese producers understand that an 8-16 ep show full of quality content is significantly superior to 24-50 length show with 50% fillers -.-
Son Suk Ku was amazing but the drama was dragged way too long for my liking. 5 eps tops, the story could've been that long. There's not enough story here to last 8 eps long for 50+mins each.
I never hated her, but always assumed that she had as many dark secrets as her daughter-in-law. And she was soooooo…
Her condescending behavior. The high and mighty attitude. She just pissed me off after she ran away from the DIL. They're birds of the same feather in my eyes and have been so since the beginning.
Yeah plus TH isn't even interested in inheriting the business anyway.
7.6??? MDL strikes again with their trash rating. This is worth at least 8.5-9. Well produced drama with really good action and performances. Story isn't anything extraordinary but the tight direction and action makes up for it.
I feel vindicated in my hatred for the grandmother. I've been a hater since they revealed the toxic family dynamics she let fester after her husband's death.
Gross ass story. IDK what's wrong with these Japanese writers creating romance between a whole ass grown man and a high school girl like ewwww?? This one was even worse than usual because it was wrapped in daddy issues and she clearly saw him as a father figure early on like wtf???
Boring ass lead couple. Story that kept going downhill. 6.5 at best tbh and even that only because of Pavel and Nut. Those 2 carried the drama despite the writing. Pete x Way had potential but they butchered it.
No lovey dovey fluff or anything but you feel their love for each other greatly. They support each other unconditionally.
Oh dw the love triangle is actually non-existent. There's zero conflict on it whatsoever, the brother gives up as soon as Kiho's identity is revealed which is very early on. The two of them (Kiho and her) show love for each other as soon as that happens but yeah they do officially get together only in like the last episode, don't expect any lovey dovey fluff or hug scenes honestly. The "love" in this drama is shown more through their sacrifice for each other and such actions.
