You're 100% right. Zee x Saint had no chemistry so Fighter x Tutor scene were PAIN to watch esp in the 2nd half where the whole drama is about them.

I started it finally. It's defo better than the Thai ver. One of the reason I didn't like the Thai ver was because it completely ignored Saifah x Zon couple and gave all the scenes to Fighter x Tutor even tho their story sucked. So I'm glad they reversed it in this.

Okay this isn't as bad as the Thai ver. Upto ep 4 and it's been fun. My main gripe is the dubbing. I watch a lot of Cdramas so I don't exactly hate dubbing but it just sounds so bad here. Why'd they even decide to dub random scenes I'll never know.

KBS2 weekend drama are always 50+ eps in length. But they can be fun to watch.

Taeho's fam are piece of shits too but at least they aren't going around getting him in trouble unlike hers. I'd rather have a family member who hates me and ignores me than someone who claims to love me but gets me in trouble all the time and then gaslights me.

Ugh not another weekend drama with the FL having the WORST FAMILY EVER. Where are the family dramas with GOOD SUPPORTIVE FAMILY????? OMG I alreayd HATE the FL's family so bad. Kang San's naivety was so charming and cute at first but it got annoying af by the end. I couldn't stand it.
The Joohyuk storyline and the ex-wife storylines ruined the drama for me tbh The whole drama was a mess due to those 2 characters. The only reason I even stuck with this was due to Seo Jun Young. I hope his next role is in a miniseries instead of a makjang.

Time to watch Live Your Own Life. Hopefully it's as good as Once Again!

That's how I felt. I found the Korean ver well made as well but this version is just... it hits just on a whole diff level. The leads here were incomparable to the Korean ver. As I watched that,I was constantly comparing the two versions. Esp Greg Hsu's performance was so impactful, Ahn Hyo Seop while a great actor in his own right just failed to emulate the same level of impact for me.

IJBOL This one's a masterpiece. Take some thousand seats pls.

Ohhh I lile this pairing even tho its unexpected. I really liked Kim Young Dae in his last 2 dramas. He more or less carried them tbh because the dramas themselves weren't that great but he performed his role rly well. I'm excited for this now.

He doesn't do dramas much. He is a movie actor mostly and Chinese movies in general focus less on romance and more on other genres.

Girl... Zhou Dong Yu and Liu Haoran are 2 of the best actor in Chinese movie industry rn periodt. What are you smoking even.
