Airing Bed Friend first was a mistake. The changes thye made really affected the series badly. Also somehow they made Jade very very annoying in Bed Friend (in the books he's not annoying at all)
wow I fell in love with him since I watched him in Sense8 american netflix series as YB love interest he is such…
SAME. Sense8 is when I became a fan of him. I"m SO happy he's finally getting his due. Such an amazing expressive actor, and I love the manly vibe he exudes. Like he doesn't try much but he oozes charisma from every part of his body.

Yeah it's about 12 bucks on Amazon. I bought it there and yes I've read it. The story actually takes place before Bed Friend. Basically Jade mistakes that Mai (an intern he's in charge of training) has a crush on Uea, when in fact Mai is in love with Jade. So Jade decides to "help" Mai woo Uea (without either of them knowing about it btw) by tricking those two together in multiple occasion (altho his plans usually fail due to interruption from King lol). After a while, he realises that he himself has fallen in love with Mai and decides to sacrifice his love to help Mai attain his happiness. Eventually, Mai pretends to be Uea's boyfriend to help chase away Uea's ex boyfriend , this causes Jade to misunderstand the whole thing even more and he pushes Mai to spend more time with Uea openly. This annoys Mai who questions Jade and Jade reveals that he's helping Mai woo Uea. This clears up their misunderstanding and they eventually date.
The whole Uea's ex boyfriend scene is in the Bed Friend drama but it's completely changed as in the drama Jade pretends to be the bf and not Mai. This is a REALLY bad change because this scene in the book is the catalyst to clearing up the misunderstanding between Jade and Mai. So I fear this show isn't gonna be as good as the book.
This is nothing like Blair Witch Project. Have you even seen Blair Witch???
That's a really bad comparison. With a logic like that, all Found footage horror films are the same thing. The plot and the premise of these two movies are world's apart.
The closest and the best comparison to this movie would be the Turkish horror movie series Dabbe. Even the Wailing is more akin to this movie than Blair Witch.
I'm VERY worried about this show. One of the best aspects of this book is the internal monologues Jade has over his belief that Mai is in love with Uea, due to which he gets close with the former to set him up with Uea which leads to him falling in love with Mai. Bed Friend changed this whole thing up and now some of the best aspect of this book has been erased completely. And if the person who edits Bed Friend edits this one as well then I fear this'll suck.
Does anyone have the unofficial translation of this book
Since it's licensed in English already, there's no unofficial translation of this anywhere. You can either buy the book or search far and wide for an ebook copy on piracy sites for it (I doubt you'll find it though, since ebook sites usually don't seem to have any Thai BLs).
I found this. It mentions not only that the woman is the translator but also mentions that Son Seokkoo got the role of an actor named "Joo Ho Jin" who falls in love with his translator "Cha Shin Hye". This is the most reliable link I found about this.
Correction: he's gotten the offer for being an interpreter/translator, not the other way around. Please double-check…
What??? The original article says "'์ด ์ฌ๋ ํต์ญ ๋๋์?โ๋ ๋ค๋ฅธ ์ธ์ด๋ฅผ ํต์ญํด์ฃผ๋ ์ง์ ์ ๊ฐ์ง ์ฌ์๊ฐ ์์ ๊ณผ ์ ๋ฐ๋ ๋ฐฉ์์ผ๋ก ์ฌ๋์ ๋งํ๋ ๋จ์๋ฅผ ๋ง๋ ๋ฒ์ด์ง๋ ์ด์ผ๊ธฐ๋ฅผ ๊ทธ๋ฆฐ ์ํ์ด๋ค" - "'Can this Love Be Translated?" is a story about a woman who works as a translator who meets a man who interprets love in the opposite way". The source article also doesn't mention what role he got offered, it only talks about the premise of the show. There's no wrong translation/misinformation here, unless the source article also got it wrong (I can confirm since I can speak/read Korean).
Oof too many thrillers. None of these excite me. IDK when the Kdrama world decided to kill the easy watch romcom genre but it's the day when Kdramas lost its charm.

The 2nd link says the Man is the translator.
The 3rd link says the Man is the translator.
