As much as I love ZZY, I couldn't stomach this drama. It's so weirdly written. But ZZY is a brilliant actress so her acting prowess still shows here.

Wow, I've been waiting since just between lovers for junho to do a romance again. Who knew it would be in a tropey…
Tropey Chaebol romcoms are my comfort blanket when it comes to Kdrama. I always know what to expect with them and they never disappoint.

Not me fast forwarding this show every episode. The amount of unnecessary skinship every episode and the bad editing... like I get it, the show is about being friends with benefits but at least move the plot instead of showing them censored bang each other half the episode every episode -.- What makes it worse is the random cuts and scene jumps. Like who edited this drama??? FIRE THEM ASAP!

I just want this show to end already so I can watch Middleman's Love which imo is a much better book.

Honestly worried about Middleman's Love atp I hope they do it justice. It's such a cute story, I loved the main couple and the insecure overlooked lead-popular guy pairing is a trope I absolutely am obsessed with. I just hope they change nothing it.

Oh 100% agreed. Like that change really disappointed me because in Middleman's Love, that was the MAIN scene that acted as a catalyst for the car confession scene. I was so disappointed to see it :(

The gender identity is because in Thailand there's 3 genders: man, woman and homosexual (also includes trans people…
That's really sad. I was hoping it was a translation issue :c Hopefully they'll start educating people on the diff between the two.

At least then not a jealous melodramatic nonsense of two women fighting over one loserish man please. Have had…
Many of his films (and almost all of his recent ones) have been produced under the Red Chillies Entertianment banner, a production house owned by him and his wife. He has full casting input. He's not "simply taking on roles", he's putting himself in these movies himself.

Same story with Salman. Almost all of his films in recent times have been produced by SKF (Salman Khan Films, a production house he owns).

Finished the book. Loved it, both Mai and Jade are really likeable characters. I liked Jade's internal monologues a lot because unlike many romance novel protags it wasn't annoying. I wish they had adapted this first because it was a much better book and the book timeline seems to have this first as well.

Also I'll say this, after finishing the book. I 100% am on board with the recasting for Mai's character because honestly I think Tutor's personality and looks suits Mai much much more (except for the height ofc). Although I do think Zon would've played Jade with much more conviction than Yim ngl because Jade just has this vibe to him where it feels he's completely oblivious to everything except his internal debates and that suits Zon a lot.

My only problem with the book was the author called "sexual orientation"/sexuality as "Gender identity". Maybe it was a translation problem? I hope it is because otherwise it'd only mean the author wrote a book about gay characters without knowing the difference between those two. Also the usage of "wifey" trope, although it was only used like twice so it wasn't a big bother.

"Once Again" was a real jewel and was penned by the writer of "Crash Course in Romance". I hope to see more writing…
It was the last good KBS weekend drama. It was well written, acting and produced. Since then it's been going downhill hard.

is the novel is as spicy as bed friend? or is totally different vibes? can someone spoil it a bit please 🙏
It's not even a bit spicy. The only 18+ scene comes near the end in a Special chapter.
