This show reminds me of this Indian soap called Anupama. It's similarly about a neglected wife who put her life on hold for her husband and children,whose husband is cheating on her. Her son is also one of her biggest supporters and there's a character very similar to Roy Kim in Anupama as well.

I just started it and I can already tell it's a fun show but I don't like the idea of her reconciling with that PoS Husband honestly. If it happens, my rating's gonna be 1/10 honestly. She needs to divorce his ass and move on with Roy instead.

Omg Baekho, gonna be my first time seeing him act. I cannot wait.

I honestly don't think KS loves the wife anymore now. It feels more like he's staying due to a strong sense of duty and his daughter only and I wish he'd leave already. He deserves so much better.

Or maybe he's already dead. They need to move the plot along tbh because atp it's just stagnant as hell. We need more KS-Mirae moments!

Watch this be better than the OG because lbr the OG was a trainwreck.

Max is the best part about this drama, he made it enjoyable to watch.

My hair is turning grey waiting for the romance between the leads to start. Also KS is a better man than I am. I'd have ditched that MIL years ago if I were him. She's so abusive toward him.

Even if this was true, she should be the last person you should be blaming.

1. She was literally 16, a kid at that age.
2. He was a CEO, he had huge power over her. He could've ruined her career if he wanted to.
3. He's a fking groomer and a pedophile.

The 1st episode was bad, honestly. IDK if I should continue.

I'd recommend reading the special chapters. It's really cute, the other special chapters are epilogues basically.

Mai's POV is a special chapter at the end where the writer shows his POV and feelings toward Jade from the start.

Esp from Mai's POV when he goes like "IDC if I get hurt as long as I can see Jade smiling". It's sooooooooooo cute. This is just the type of romcom I need in my life. I'm so sad that they might not be the same in this show :(

Sameeeee. I feel the same. I prefer this novel and am excited for this more because of the lighter story. And honestly I thought this novel was better than Bed Friend as well.

They can do that, but it wouldn't fix all the problems sadly because King's interference also plays a major role and he only does that because of the King-Uea relationship thingy. So they'd have to introduce another character to act as a foil. Another problem imo is they completely changed Jade's personality. In the novel, Jade is actually wiser, feistier and more mature, I'm not a fan of his change in the show (they made him cutesy and clingy sadly :c).

Basically the story of this novel happens BEFORE Bed Friend and the whole story is about how Jade misunderstands Mai and tries to set him and Uea up multiple times throughout the book leading to his own realisation that he's in love with Mai and him trying to sacrifice his love for the sake of Mai's happiness.
This book basically has Jade playing matchmaker for Mai and Uea with King as the main foil throughout and that creates a very fun, unique dynamic between these 4 characters. And the changes they made i.e the fact that now Uea and King are together completely affects this unique dynamics between these 4 characters.

I need this show to retcon everything that happened in the Bed Friend series because if they don't then I',m sure this show's gonna suck.

In the show Jade is seen as more cutesy and clingy type. In the book, Jade is more mature, witty, feisty. The way they made him so clingy in the show is just a huge change and I find it very annoying.
