yeah I've read on the preparation they did for the number and you can definitely tell its one of the biggest productions ever. I understand what you mean by that. I just hope it airs at the end of the month as planned.

yup its hardly as believable as the fact that this drama shot only for 3 months and has 51 episodes out of it, talk about a fast production. Yeah but some film for so long cuz they end refilming scenes to produce them more better that just as the director of VoS did.

this will become my first series above 40 episodes, so its gonna be something to adjust to as I'm not fond of revisiting older dramas. I just hope it airs international cuz as of now its only online on the mainland apps of the network distributors and this looks real good to watch.

I just hope they don't add fills in when they lift it, but it was removed quite a while ago, but it seems they choose to stick to the 40 episodes plan, but maybe the higher production snd good scripts will end up being elongated in its number of episodes.

VoS was only cut from 30 to 29, 40 was just its filing, not the tentative number of episodes planned. Yeah Youku will probably end up losing to Mango atp, they can't really save themselves besides these drastic measures of reducing episodes.

I believe it takes about 2-3 years after receiving a license to expire so it still has long time before expiring, but it can always be renewed anyway.

Finally up to date with the drama after binging again, and wow I'm so impressed by this drama, the cinematography, the humour and the storyline being so intriguing. Now this is finally a business drama that makes me not be bored, I love the intelligence of Pingyuan, man always can think of ways to manoeuvre his way through troubles and I'm so invested in Mrs Su, loving the poltical plot so far!
