Todays episodes sure made me yap a lot, I love the layers built upon each character, yes come at me, but I understand where the Emperor is coming from and also find his mother at fault as well. Both of them were the cause of their downfall.

They were long a couple before the founding of Susha, they fought together in order to form the nation of Susha, they for sure loved each other, but yet again their personalities developed later clash with each other which lead to that outcome.

I have my plan on how to watch it, I'm gonna be busy as my final exams are coming up so I doubt my weekends would be free for binging so im gonna work hard and reward myself with an episode each time unless I were to hypothetically stay up one Friday night to binge 😅

Oh tell me about it, one of the worst endings these scripts can bring, its as if they fight for everything, just to abandoned it in the end, its so illogical ugh. Yup hopefully they stick to the novel endings. Im sure you're aware of the invincible plot armour that these characters has 😅 at least its back by a somewhat logical thing here. Im gonna watch so slow this week due to school, so my stress levels will be highy constant during the final few eps 😭

Some dramas may that do cuz theres at least another competent prince, but heres theres no one other but Suige is take that throne, him and Yixiao would be such good rulers, gosh and in the novel he actually did, now if its changed here, I'll deduct that 0.5 stars immediately. Id understand if he was just a general, but nope he is part of the royal family, he should shoulder his responsibilities. They can retire when they have a competent son! Yeah it doesn't. Hopefully its just his irrational thinking atm, maybe that event will occur soon will reconstruct his brain to think as he always does.

he's a bit short-sighted at the moment, maybe that event that will occur soon will make him realise what he has to do for the well-being of the nations and its people.

The script has been top-notch so far, hope it ain't ruined by the most classical way to mess tbe script a bit up, the ending.

I actually agree with you on that point. Yeah if fate put you in that position, why defy it? but ya know cdramas tend to be only about defying fate. Yup his not considering the bigger picture as of now, which doesn't sit right with me as his a general, he has strategic thinking skills and planning abilities, why make him this way of a grudge? I get his feelings over his mother's death, but you can't tell youd rather pursuit 1 life over hundreds of thousands. He needs to be the Emperor at the end of the series and thats what I want. The series is so good, they need to stop with leaving the country for freedom after literally almost dying. Or I'll personally transmigrate into the drama and burn that building down. 😅

Yeah after all this drama is based off betrayal as a main trope, its good that the Emperor is so aware of his surroundings. Im sure she was aware of the plan to make him the Emperor after all she fought with them. She was a bit reckless to just decide to leave, after all those positions aint to be toyed around with. I feel most are forgetting the people of the nation, one wrong move and thousands would suffer and die. To be born into this royalty is obviously to come with sacrifices, but if its what causes the people of the nation to be at peace, what else can a Emperor do to prepare a Crown Prince?
