Bingo! Romance-driven stories are not my thing, well maybe if its handled well, but too much romance is meh for me. Yep seems we're on the same page regarding this matter. Theres no trope that I loathe besides Reverse-Harem or Harem. I'm so glad that trope vanished. Only reverse-harem I watched was SOKP, but yet again it wasn't that bad there.

It is what makes me to sometimes hate romance dramas and I love romance,but I tend to prefer probably ±90% drama than ±10% romance in these dramas, I tend to drop dramas where I feel theres too much romance.

The Eternal Fragrance is one of his latest works yet to come out, maybe we'll see if he can have the same standard of CGI between the 2 dramas. The Director of Fated Hearts (Chi Yubin specifically) is a good director, you can see he pours in effort in his dramas and thus have many hits based of MDLs ratings. Another director Is Yin Tao, he's a good one too, his Wuxia films are always top-notch with the fighting scenes. I only know of these 3, the rest are okay I suppose.

talk about it, tired of the same old trope, but I never liked this trope, romance drama is so unnecessary, I want actual drama that focuses on things that arent romance involved. Hopefully this trope dies out soon (wishful thinking)
