One of the best death game drama/ movie I have seen in a while. My only gripe about it is Alice being a savant and figuring out practically everything after just thinking for a couple seconds- it's kind of annoying. Other than that, this was great and I can't wait for season 2. (netflix)
I dropped this drama after S1 but I'm so curious as to how S2 ended. Did any of the wives find out yet? Feel free…
All the wives found out. Sa Hun got his mistress preggo and they are together and very happy as well as his parents because they want a grandchild Hae Ryoon left his wife but at the end of this season she broke up with him to go back to her ex (maybe...) Yoo Shin didn't want to divorce his wife but she was like f-u go be with her and left and now he has no peace because the mistress and his step-mom keep fighting so he tries to find ways to hang out with her. The ending has everyone ending up with other people so it's obvious another season is happening.
OMG I thought this would end after season 2 but they are dragging this out for another season and I am internally raging!! This is just like Penthouse- being milked for no good reason -_- And I will be watching season 3 because I want to se how this ends with everyone. (netflix)
Watched the drama years ago and forgot to watch the movie; even so I was still able to get through this w/o remembering the drama. This was cute and light and overall enjoyable for what it was. It was really nice to see such a sweet ml putting the fl's happiness above his own which I don't see too much in dramas/ movies these days. I recommend it, although you don't have to watch the prequel drama but I would recommend it if only for the bromance (dramacool).
I was hoping for more but the story was kinda sub-par. I guess I can't help but compare it to City of Angels which was a perfect blend of love/ sadness/ humor. Since it's been a while, I would love an updated version of this story and the country I would like to see do it is Japan cause they are the rulers of movies that will get you all in your feelings. (dramacool)
I love action movies especially those with a spy aspect but for some reason this fell short with me. The actors did a great job and the sets and costumes were beautiful but the writing just felt lack-luster. Although it pains me to say, I don't recommend it (dramacool)
Tbh, this movie was meh but the acting was top notch. Mark is just... he's aging like fine wine pretty much and Angela Baby is just as adorable as ever. But yea, the love story was... just meh for me. There are so many love stories out there that had me much more emotional than this, still recommend it for the acting. (dramacool)
Does Kang ever make happy movies? I swear the only things I've seen in him in have been tearjerkers. Going into this I was not surprised... still cried though. Such a heartfelt movie... *le sigh Totally recommend it. (kissasian)
This was so good but could have been much better. I don't know if it was the editing or what but some parts just seemed disjointed and scenes looked like they were cut. There also, without giving anything away, looks like there was a character who may have been interested in one of the male leads but they seemed to scrap that idea?... I wish the budget was better because the acting and story was/ is QUALITY! You can really see what I'm talking about in the last episode where things have CLEARLY happened but they don't give us backstory to it. I can't end my rant w/o giving MAJOR prop to the leads as the chemistry is MUAH! *chefs kiss* Even with their shortcomings, this drama is worth it! (dramacool) Would love to see the leads in another drama together for sure.
Yeah when you think about it in the end you kind of wonder, what was all this even about? What was the point of…
The Hee/ Ji Yong / Ja Kyung storyline had me invested but when that was settled with Hee winning the court case, that's when I pretty much started to lose interest. The story of that crazy sister (forget her name) and her hubby cheating on her was funny and well as her equally crazy mom and the peacock but other than that all the other stories were meh. You are totally correct in saying that in the end, what was the purpose.
Should I watch this? Which is better? This or Penthouse ?
Penthouse wants to be SKY Castle but I think the writer(s) sensed that they could never compare and it has become a mess. Watch this THEN watch Penthouse because although it's messy af, it's still insanely entertaining on the makjang level alone.
I honestly don't know how I feel about this one. This starts off strong but in true kdrama form, fizzles out at the end. I've come to expect that at this point but I'm a bit pissed off because even though this whole "horrible rich folks doing equally horrible things" has been hot storyline for a minute (SKY Castle I blame yall for setting the bar so damn high), with this one it somehow gave off a different vibe. The acting and the production is A1 but the 2nd half became a dud. Would I recommend it?... To be totally honest, although I gave it a high rating, I wouldn't recommend it (weird, I know) (netflix)

*lowkey/ high key mad
Great action but goodness... (youtube via wakalan.com)
s/n the fl looks like Yaya...
Not for everyone so I couldn't recommend it. (dramacool)
*end credits song is hella nice
