You need to mark this as spoiler.

Title 9 End 2 Outs
And yet another kdrama that starts off strong and then ends in a mess. Surprised to see this as the older (pre 2010) kdramas tend to be strong from start to finish... *le sigh*
Anyway the first... 10 episodes are good so at least it's good for half the story but then the last few are just the characters waxing poetic on life that I ended up stop paying attention. In the end I personally wouldn't waste my time on this one. (dramacool)
On Until We Meet Again Mar 11, 2020
This was a really good drama. The story-line and the reincarnation aspect was really intricate although a bit creepy if you think about it thoroughly. My only issue with this drama is the pace. The conversations the characters would have with each other would have terribly long pauses in between that would make for awkward watching. People don't pause for 5+ seconds after each person speaks- that's hella weird. Towards the end it's like they were dragging it on even more so that I kinda just stopped really paying attention until I would hear someone speak- it's that bad.
Fluke is so freakin adorable!! The fact that he can cry on demand- they are gonna have him crying in every he's in. I kinda wish they would ease up on the emotional aspect with these actors who are bad criers, it ruins the drama for me. Seeing some eye drops just fall down their faces makes me want to laugh. Anyways I totally recommend this drama esp to all my fellow fujoshis' ^_^ (kissasian)

Title Junichi
This was a really simple quiet show about a random dude who helped these random women deal with their personal issues... through sex... yep lol that's pretty much it. Never really explained the backstory to Junichi's character, why he does what he does or where he comes from and after a couple episodes I just shrugged my shoulders and just went along with it. Don't come here expecting some deep mind-blowing drama- cause this aint it. I mean the cover photo is a shirtless guy in the rain- not much to really explain here lol. I recommend it if you wanna see a good looking guy having his way some ladies that apparently need it (giggity) so if sex makes you uncomfortable then just pass on this one. (dramacool)

With these older dramas you get the very basic when it comes to romance and this one pretty much hit all the classic troupes a drama needs. Came across this randomly and decided to watch- man this did NOT age well lol The clothing, the HAIR! omg lol horrible, and this was the first drama for many of of the actors and it shows -_- The story isn't very deep but for some odd reason I binged this. Ambrose and his sudden English surprised me but it's perfect English and he sounds really good lol other actors would just respond to him in their native tongue or broken English- either way it was kinda cool. Watch this or don't either way you'll fine because there are newer dramas that have this same story-line anyway. (netflix)

Person Ambrose Hui
Watching him now in Lavender on Netflix. That hair is wild!
It's apparent that early 00's hair was just all around tragic

Another k-drama that is over hyped and not really worth it. All the hoopla really comes from KJW's character and a little bit from JH's acting.
The story is nothing new with two cops who start off at odds against a crazed serial killer. The only interesting thing is the fl and her crazy heightened sense of hearing. This really had the potential to be something great but the writing is really lazy and as a person who likes anything with serial killers and the dark side of human nature I could immediately tell this. The drama is ruined basically when the cops would just make straight up dumb decisions that would never happen in real life. One example is when the 2 leads finally find the serial killer's house and see fresh blood on the ground- he has a victim. Instead of immediately going in, they stand outside having a conversation about said killer's childhood and why he came to be. Essentially wasting time and letting the killer get another victim. Another reoccurring theme seemed to be having the cops, although they have partners, would be to travel to dangerous situations alone... *face palm* I could go on but I'll just end it here.
One of the highlights is that the fl, although she makes dumb mistakes (but pretty much everyone did), is very driven and all about her job- even standing up against her boss when he tried to get in her way.
I could only recommend this if you're new to kdramas or even dark dramas in general because this is definitely not the best cop/ serial killer drama. (kissasian)
On Solomon's Perjury I: Suspicion Mar 2, 2020
This movie is O_O talk about being uncomfortable because it came off as so realistic. The bullying and domestic violence had me all the way shooketh and concerned for the safety of the actors- they portrayed it VERY well. The actual story itself is pretty intriguing but the only fault is I find it to be dragging. I think 30 minutes could have been cut to make the story progress a bit faster/ better. This not for everyone so if real life drama bothers you then look elsewhere. (viewasian)

This... this movie is DEFINITELY not for everyone. But if you think you can handle it- then by all means, go for it. I thought this was going to be the typical weird Japanese movie that made no sense and had me scratching my head at the end as to why I wasted my time- this was NOT it. The way the story is told is kinda like wtf? How do these stories even sync up? But the twist that reveals everything will leave you floored- at least it did with me. This totally surprised me in the end and I'm so glad I watched it. (viewasian)
On The Man from Nowhere Mar 1, 2020
To be honest there isn't much in the way of story line but when it comes to action movies I tend to just let it slide. The fight scenes are amazingly done. One of my favorite action movie is The Bourne Ultimatum and the fight scene is beautifully done. I found myself comparing this movie to that as I was just totally taken in.
I totally recommend this if action is your thing but be warned there is a lot of blood. Also I want to recommend if you watch this and liked it then Taken with Liam Neeson is another amazing movie with a similar premise- guy with skills living a quiet life when his daughter is kidnapped- was a huge hit here in the States. On You Are My Vampire Mar 1, 2020
I was with the fl until she bad mouthed her mom's love interest as too dark skinned and comes from a stinky country (the guy is Indian)- fucking gross attitude. She apologizes later on but still, left a bad impression with me. All in all it was weird and pretty uneventful- very forgettable so watch it if you want, or don't- it doesn't matter. (asiancrush)

Let's just say that I fell asleep watching this one. Yea the story is decent but the way it was executed was a straight up bore for me. I personally wouldn't recommend. (viewasian)
