Only really watched this for Book and Frame as their story wasn't as vexing as the mains. To be honest this didn't need a 2nd season, everything could have been played out in one but they dragged it out and added other unnecessary characters. I wouldn't recommend it tbh (kissasian)
Short and sad- what you can typically expect with a bl short. I was getting "It's A Wonderful Life" vibes from it when he was talking to the guy in his dream; sadness. If you have like an hr to kill I would recommend this short. (youtube)
This was a real eye opener. I can see why it has rave reviews- the story brilliantly portrays the current education system and its affect on students and parents alike. This drama is definitely for a more mature audience ie not those asking if there's romance -_- The acting and story-line were beautifully done and at times I found myself crying because it was just so emotional. I highly recommend this one- it's phenomenal. (dramacool)
This is an absolute GEM! I only gave it a 9.5 because the ending is sorta/kinda but not(??) a cliffhanger and I don't appreciate that. They could def give us another season- I DEMAND ONE! The acting from EVERYONE was on point. The story-line never dragged and if it did I didn't notice because I was so wrapped up in it. I never watched the original version although I want to; I have heard nothing but rave reviews about it anyway. This is my type of drama because we are dealing with adults, in adult situations handling things in an adult manner-not acting childish and making idiotic decisions. If you like that kind of story then I HIGHLY recommend this drama, seriously you wont regret it. (dramacool)
Kimura dramas don't disappoint- this is no exception. My only issues is with the ending; although VERY realistic, it pissed me off. The story and the acting were on point from everyone- I hated who I was suppose to hate and loved who I was suppose to love. I recommend this one. (dramacool)
Just watched him in The Effect and I officially love him now- he's mine ^_^ But anyway lol I hope when he finishes school he will return to acting; would love to see more of him.
Don't mind me, I'm just ugly crying in the corner :'( The Effect has affected me... like oh my gah!! I was full on expecting the same ol troupe when it comes to these bl dramas but got DAMN it went left and stayed there. The acting was really on point from the leads and now I want to see more James and Oat. My only issue is I wish this was longer but at the same time the 3 episodes were just enough. I guess if it was longer it wouldn't have the same impact. I HIGHLY recommend this one. (youtube)
This was surprisingly good. The acting was really on point esp between Yoon Gyun Sang and Jun- will def be on the lookout for their projects. The story was dire and frustrating at times but it still had me hooked. I don't think this needed to be 16 episodes- maybe 10-12 and cut out some of the unnecessary characters, like the female teacher and the female student (they both added nothing to the story). I was surprised to see people praising this as possibly the best drama of 2019 seeing how there was no romance- the masses are growing up ^_^ I recommend this (kissasian)
They should rename this: Get Wrecked cause that is how I'm feeling after watching this wonderful, heartwarming, beautiful drama. This would be a 10 for me if they followed the original source material more. With something like this, there really are no words I can use to describe how amazing it is so- JUST WATCH IT!! You won't regret it. (kissasian)
While watching it, I never understood why others thought it was a waste of time till I got to ep 8 and it started…
Yea it's around there that it becomes a straight up mess and I lost all interest but just wanted to see how it would end. But it took me FOREVER (weeks) to finish the last handful of episodes.
Went in not really expecting too much but seeing how it's an OCN drama I knew I wouldn't be disappointed, and I wasn't. The story was unique and towards the end when I thought I knew who the culprit would be, I was dead ass wrong lol and I loved that. The last episode had me crying like a mofo which I wasn't expecting but hey. I really enjoyed it and HIGHLY recommend this one. (netflix)
ps. Minki... bruh it's nice to see you not playing some weirdo/ murderer :-)
