Hard to say. Chinese productions are notorious for taking a long time to release. As do international co-productions (this is a co-production with Thailand), it was even filmed in Bangkok.
But, chinese guidelines are pretty harsh, and there's a few articles that talk about how the production company, Ciwen Media, has been financially struggling in recent years (https://www.nbd.com.cn/articles/2021-03-30/1677568.html)
It was in post-production last I found anything. So it's a matter of editing, censorship review, broadcast licensing, release schedule planning, streaming negotiations, etc. So there's a lot to do if this is still moving forward - especially with China in the mix.
There's always been this quality of BLs from Thailand. We've been saying it for a while now. With each company that is seeing massive success from BLs, a new company or two pops up (or an older company tries to diversify) to try their hand at it. It's causing an oversaturation of BLs that is bringing the overall quality down. It's also seeing a rush to release, with everyone trying to release their production first before a similar one releases (because comparison and competition can also be a bad thing - especially if you don't know what youre doing).
There are still good shows being released, even if you are looking at more spicy works. La Pluie is about to air it's finale, for instance. And there are several upcoming dramas from more established studios/directors/etc that look promising.
you can be a nonbinary lesbian and since their cis girlfriend identifies as a lesbian i think they absolutely…
If you do, please tell me what you find 🥰 And that is definitely true, though i doubt that’s the relationship being voted on here. But perhaps im wrong. 🤔
I'm not sure how Taiwan Entertainment goes about scandals. But Aaron Yan is currently under some really serious allegations - so this might get delayed while they wait for things to settle in the press or they otherwise plan for changes.
