really? I wonder if it was remastered for online use… I have been listening to the audio book…so I have the vhs tapes, audiobook, and a supremely well loved paperback I picked up in an airport back in 1990. can’t tell I am a fan, can you? 😆😆😆

Another hope of mine is that they go ahead and leave off the Japanese translations at the beginning so we can really feel the confusion Blackthorne felt.(Something the original conveyed very well)

I noticed this as well…I wonder if it’s because whoever is translating is not paying attention to the Mandarin subtitles. It’s a thousand times funnier when (if you can) you read the original subtitles and catch all the misunderstandings because of word play and double talk.

Netflix translations are some of the worst. Don’t do that to this wonderful show.
I’ve never subscribed to Hulu, so I can’t rate it. I tried to watch a few shows on Netflix in my language and nearly threw my tv out. I definitely broke a remote control over it. Thanks for saving me some money with Hulu alert!
