I would encourage you to keep at it. Esther intentionally used a higher pitched voice in the first 8 or so episodes to highlight the characters naïveté. She drops the pitch as her character matures. A unique way to show growth.

so agree with this analysis. if there is one thing Dilireba is bad at, it is acting sad/serious. Throughout Blue Whisper, she just came across as bored, same for Prosecution Elite, and now same for this… When she sings, there is a smile in her voice that she can’t get rid of ( talking about 偏偏 from TPB…it’s not an upbeat song ffs!). She should just stick to cute and bubbly. She does that super well.
