Kim Eun-sok shouldn't be referred to as "The Glory writer". She's written too many top dramas to be tagged like that. Secret Garden and Guardian the Lonely and Great God to name but two of her works which were richer than The Glory.

You should learn to face reality. Most people know what potential a drama holds from one episode*, even if it wasn't good. This drama technically had a decent first episode but not much potential - red flags.

* I got one wrong recently, Marriage Revenge, some trustworthy MDLers set me straight.

That's how a great drama performs its magic.

Ha ha, rom-com. You won't get any romance or comedy here. You might see people going through the motions, nothing more. One lead doesn't have the acting prowess, the other has no real perception of themselves, only a calculation of variables.

I don't, too much meaningless positivity with no substance makes it seem dishonest and shallow. Maybe it's a drama that attracts such comments.

I love Kim Sun-young. I think Backstreet Rookie was my favourite. That's a joke by the way. But, wow, so real, I no longer feel alone after watching that 😆. Any drama with her in it becomes better - and if she's in it, it's a good drama.

What's Goblin? Never heard of it. This drama's totally original. The bit where Song Kang's silhouette walks toward Yoo-jung through the mist, floodlit from behind... her poor heart... could this be... Gong Yoo?... or maybe Lee Dong-wook?... Oh, never mind. And what are those dangly belts hanging from his shirt? Or is that actually a ladies' blouse? What the heck, where's my car?! Eun-tak never had to run in these stupid shoes!

Acting, charisma, style. He's in an elite group.

These two light up the screen wherever they go. So brilliant.
