Title Alienoid 1
Lots of positives, but spoilt a bit by not following its own logic... quite a lot of events and occurrences don't make much sense - it overstretches its ambitions and loses the suspension of disbelief. Narrative was confused, timelines sliced and diced unnecessarily... I give it 8.5 for the effects and the parts that worked - at times it looks at home among the best sci-fi movies ever made. Given its length (it's long) it should have been able to tell a better story. Also, part 1 abruptly ends right in the middle, not a complete movie in its own right, makes you feel a little bit cheated.

Who is the pedophile?
One more thing before I go, I'm not dying on a hill, it's a silly metaphor. I'll be delighted to be blocked by anyone that doesn't understand or like what I say, I won't miss them - they can virtue-signal to their heart's content about how disgusting paedophilia is, as if anyone doesn't know it.

Uh, seeing the person you got bullied by being "loved" by thousands of fans is when you'd come forward lol. Stop…
People sticking up for the bully are promoting themselves as moral crusaders, claiming she's being falsely accused or unfairly victimised... as if, a victim 😂

Speak for yourself. I haven't seen the glory because it looked tedious and am sick of seeing it mentioned in so…
Ok thanks, bit pedantic... what should I say then, 'financial producer'? Is the production company known as 'the producer'? Netflix paid for it, it owns it, it wasn't broadcast on TV, it has a say in everything it owns - otherwise how does one explain why almost all their original content doesn't feel authentic? I totally rate Netflix as an outsider, it's still making inroads.
Back to the point, read her statement again and if you don't sense something fishy... you can believe what you like.

Edit p.s. I never said she was a protagonist. Like her statement, you didn't read my comment correctly.

Ok, ok. I guess it's pretty obvious why it keeps getting mentioned. I happen to believe the accuser in this real life story. I also think studios know about the actress's history because she has to declare it. Explains why only an outsider like Netflix offered her a main role, and a role as a villain at that. She shows no remorse in her ambiguous statement.

Who is the pedophile?
Well, I suppose you must know the law very well. I wouldn't say he was a paedophile, although I have no idea about the case or how/why it was prosecuted. I just see the odd flippant comments on MDL whenever he's in a drama or somehow, even in this discussion.

It would be nice if people would be more careful about making public accusations against people, especially when…
Speak for yourself. I haven't seen the glory because it looked tedious and am sick of seeing it mentioned in so many comments as if it's reference material, totally absurd.

People act like she did the bullying yesterday, this was like 19/20 years ago? She probably has grown and evolved…
Yes, as a bully she'd have helped create a monster - and she didn't foresee the monster turning on her. Bullies must be thick to show such lack of vision. They literally have no idea who they're messing with. Such hubris - if the victim was in a drama they'd be the protagonist, but since this bully's in a drama they get seen as the protagonist, how twisted is that?
