Please delete Rowoon. He was lead in Tomorrow... and quite bad imo, sorry! Idols that use mononym in acting... are any of them any good? Rowoon, Joy, ...? When I see a drama with one-name cast members I never watch. There's an idea for a new survey: "mononym actors that are not terrible"

and Lee Da-hee was FL in Luca and also the upcoming Island...?

One to add?... maybe can you add the imposing Jung Eun-chae? She has everything needed to lead a drama - I hear she upset people some years back off-screen, but she's got the charisma to lead, and she's a very fine actress.

Also added Ahn Woo-yeon, I really liked him in Mad For Each Other, maybe he has potential to lead.

Tbh from this list I only believe Park Jin-joo and Jung Eun-chae have the energy and charisma needed to be a drama lead - everyone else is in the right position as a support.

If you did another list in reverse... leads that should have stayed as supporting actors (I know, not nice!) I would nominate Han So-hee and Seo In-guk. Don't troll me people!

I'm a fan of sci-fi and Han Hyo-joo - lucky! Some actors get fed up with filming romances, maybe they're busy focusing on their own or something. The Beauty Inside's my favourite work of hers, it was the first time I noticed her, she was glorious in it, and such a pretty smile.

Totally agree, I never saw anything starring Go Min Si, she qualifies on this list, she's not a lead

RULES for nominees:
1. Never had a lead role in a drama, mainstream movie or more than two independent/low-budget movies
2. Once anyone proves an actor ineligible they must be disqualified
3. New candidates may be added to fill empty slots, maximum of 75
4. Lowest ranked actors may be disqualified and replaced at the discretion of the panel (i.e. you!)

Examples of allowed:
• Kim Hye Yoon - main role but not lead role in Snowdrop + lead role in low budget movie Girl on a Bulldozer
• Seol In-a: many main roles, no lead role yet

Not allowed:
• Kim Seon Ho - male lead in a romantic drama
• Sung Hoon - lead in low budget dramas (even though largely unknown 😉)

Wow, you posted a lot, too much for me to read. I saw the one where you rank the drama as 1.5/10. I've never given the dramas I don't like such a low score since my view doesn't mean it's that bad - sounds like it made you mad - I'd drop the drama if that's what I thought of it. I walked out of a movie theatre half way through a rotten movie when I was young, never looked back since, just be ruthless and don't waste your time.

Thanks, great to read your comment, and nice to read a positive view - quite different to the YouTube reviewers whose livelihoods depend on views/likes. We're at odds on taste, all the comparables you listed... I've never watched! But really enjoyed reading what you wrote.

You make some good points, they blew $1bn on Rings. It's not only about Tolkien loyalists, it's also trying to trendy by being 'woke' with no real artistic integrity - it's being called out for being tedious, badly written, lazy... and Amazon's responding by labelling their critics as bigots, racists, you name it. Of the two groups I kind of fall on the side of the disappointed fans. I've never seen any LOTR movies, not one episode of this show, just studied one book at school and hated it, not a Tolkien fan, fantasy realms really get on my nerves. I can't fathom how stupid it must feel to act with full sincerity in something like that. As for Tolkien, I wonder if his books would have been received so well if he hadn't gone to Oxford with all his Oxford alumni connections. Can't say myself as life's too short to waste my years finding out.

Revolutionary Sisters, everyone strongly expressed how irritating the 3 sisters were, without much foundation. You're very dismissive, considering you said you didn't know the drama - how do you know it's totally unrelated? It's related by 3 sisters getting unfounded criticism.

He was great as Tal Tal, agree - saw him in Master's Sun, but not much else.
