South Korea knew it was a turd too, 3%. Take Hyo-jin, Min-ho and the post-production cameos away, it would go down to less than 1%. We might see a slight increase next Saturday when word spreads about how tragically awful it is; that was a horrible start - except for the 5-minute backstory of Lee Min-ho heroically delivering babies, it brought a tear to my eye. Typical Netflix, thinks its entire audience has ADHD, maybe it does if the crap it churns out is actually successful.
Agree. Probably something to do with Netflix. Looks like it's been audience tested in front of a bunch of dummies - maybe Netflix is throwing its weight around and interfering in artistic decisions. The whole cast looks uncomfortable and awkward, the 3 moms look awkward (one of whom is not a k-drama regular, a cheap hire?), ground control is very awkward, Park Jin-joo was shot separately, Jo Jung-suk shot separately and wearing too much lipstick (very cheaply made scenes), the space scenes were all awkward, it's got Netflix stamped all over it... hell, even the newborn baby called up its agent and said "get me outta here!!" So not the writer's fault imo, probably 🤭
That photo of her weight looks deceptive. Is she the first woman on earth to make the scales lie? Her right foot appears not to be firmly planted, if she rested her hand on a table, conveniently out of shot, she could take 10Kg off easily - hence her weight's on the left leg.
After two episodes, this seems more like watching a trainwreck than a sci-fi based drama. This show is trying to…
Yes, and we can see the clumsy re-editing that's taken place. I can't believe how long that stupid scene at the end of ep.2 went on for, with a bad cut to a group of colleagues at ground control awkwardly filmed as a post-production scene.
With all the news about the birth rate of south Korea being .78% episode 1 felt like a propaganda videos trying…
It does seem to be one of the factors behind the story... back in 2023 when they filmed it - but whilst this drama's been on hold, the birth rate increased in 2024 after a straight 7 year decline... Unfortunate timing. It's going to hit the floor again if couples watch this, they should have canned it, not only is it nonsense, it's not even relevant anymore.
Are we going to have to put up with the cringy English speaking and English speaking actors the entire 16 episodes?…
It's so basic, so awkward, I'm frequently looking away from the screen in secondhand embarrassment. This is not made for us fans and not for South Korea either. It looks like it's going to end on 2% viewership in 7 weeks. Woeful.
"...the words indicate deception." lol And you know this because you are a full-time detective and forensic language…
Great work, the organisers took responsibility without ambiguity, gaslighting, etc. well done. If I was a 'quester' I'd be satisfied with that. Were you telling the truth? - it looks apologetic and truthful to me. Lusi, however, is hiding something, at best she's giving a portion of truth that supports her position.
Lee Min-ho's doing a stellar job so far, I cried when he delivered those babies... but Ask The Stars what exactly? It's Netflixy. The multiple foreigners are all terrible actors. Fast forwarded back story, literally. Base humour. Korean staff at ground control look as uncomfortable and disengaged as usual in Netflix-controlled dramas. And the documentary-style intro to each episode is nauseating - I almost switched off episode 1 at the start, as if we need an introduction to space, besides which, there's credible doubt surrounding the first moon landing in 1969. This should have been a piece of solid science fiction, set in the future - to lend artistic licence to the narrative.

If it was believable I don't care how long it is. I was insinuating the length of the statement was a red flag - taking into account the wording, I didn't say I didn't read it. I just don't believe her.
Idk what jpop u listen to, but jpop is just as saturated with pitch correction. At the very least, what i listen…
Right, totally... I think we should try though - all the power's in the hands of the producers, they even alter melodies outright when they want to. At this rate, we won't need singers and they'll disappear, it's such a pity when we can't appreciate a great vocal performance. It takes away the value of talent.
Hope they don't. The age of cancellations has ended and he didn't commit a crime - he probably thought it would…
You're very aggressive. So I'll just say this: suck it up, virtue signaller. Nobody advocates or condones rape, but there's always some prick that implies they do, just to signal their own virtue. You disgust me. Fk off.
I can't allow that turd-in-the-pool to float in front of my eyes and not call it out.
So not the writer's fault imo, probably 🤭
