Ji Chang wook has stated that he wants to act in romances but he still keeps getting action. It is probably taxing…
He accepts what he wants to accept. With Dismal+ I assume it's hard to refuse their offers. The perception in SK was/is momentarily misaligned with the rest of the world, hence we saw Park Seo-joon and Lee Jung-jae, 2 esteemed actors taking part in a couple of turkeys in America; they at least got paid but did nothing for their reputations.
I was making a general point about Disney's MO, there is no 'it'. This movie already looks like a turd, but don't worry - South Korea already got paid, the losses will be to Disney's shareholders and creditors, you can just continue to simp on this web site.
Disney+ hater should not talk about what is wrong or right
I dislike Disney in it's entirety, I'm an anti fan, very disappointed. I believe its values are not aligned with those of South Korea either, and that South Korea is beginning to reject it - like much of North America and Europe. There's noise that the current board will be ousted soon, if it happens I'll change my stance. What do you like about it?
Must admit, this movie looks like a turd. Everyone who's on board is there for the money, not the art - it's Disney's MO. When the foundations are weak it doesn't matter about adornments, it'll collapse.
The Yellow Dragon awards 😆 Pure comedy. I laughed so much in those final episodes... at all the wrong moments. I think I was overcome by the hysteria of reaching the end. But seriously, what sort of prison was that? Gong Jin-dan got dealt with by a prison gang for heinous crimes against... Park Dora... (that's one thing they can't tolerate in prisons) except he gets away with just a soft punch to the stomach, he must be laughing too, no justice in the world!
can you tell me what was disgusting so i can decide if i should watch 1st ep or just direct jump to 2
3 women getting totally wasted, ugly drunks, puking and more, and not in a funny way, not a scrap of humour or wit in the script, the timing's off, purely a crass attempt to make people laugh through unpleasantness - depravity with no comedic prowess, very embarrassing - apart from Si-won who has timing and personality in abundance, no script or director can take that away.
Compare what we see in episode 1 with, say, Jun Ji-hyun in the opening 10 minutes (or so) of the film My Sassy Girl for a total contrast in how to do it right - with subtlety, timing and a genuine sense of comedy.
Edit... btw the ratings say it all, 50% ran after ep.1 and never looked back. Just watch it and you'll see what I mean, let me know.
I've resumed DNA Lover, it's not bad. Episode 1 was a total turn-off but it's been pretty good since then. Huge mistake going for 'disgusting' comedy at the start, and just achieving the disgusting part. Pity.
Dying to see this sadly in U.K. gets harder unlike USA
Sounds like gaslighting's part of the plot. I prefer good honest bad guys, not the ones that play mind games! Actually it depends on the writer, they often make the good guys way too dim in such circumstances.
Anyway I'll send you a DM if you want to know how to legally unlock things the rotten UK is hiding from you - and stop them spying on you too, as you know free speech is under threat in the UK, let me know.
Park Eun-bin's #1 for me. The way she sang Someday is one of the best vocals I've heard. Just amazing. Best moment of Castaway Diva came at the end of episode 2.
Has Shin Hye-sun borrowed money from loan sharks? I wonder, when actors over expose themselves by working relentlessly and accepting any old dramas. I put her in the tryhard category of actors. Anyway, Viki gets on my nerves, if it's exclusive I won't be watching, not bothered.
A better headline: PSJ and HSH regurgitate platitudes about working together
When all you have are these inane platitudes you can probably assume they hardly know/like each other - hence I'd guess that rapport is in shorter supply than you think.
That, or they're both devoid of personality....
This is not 'dishing': "The rapport we built over the long period of filming time speaks for itself. I was able to finish filming, gaining a lot of energy."
What's he trying to say here.. oh, nothing?: "Since he's a character with a wide range of change, I had many concerns while acting, but it was fun because I was able to try expressing him in different ways."
And she isn't even trying, she's smoking a fag coming up with some shit for the press: "The moment Chae Ok met Ho Jae, she felt a sense of joy and excitement as if she had returned to the time when she found meaning in simply being alive."
Total rubbish, totally embarrassing - not you LA, these A-listers and their fan-hating agencies.
Disappointing drama. Characters were one dimensional, very hard to watch when the narrative is event driven rather than character driven, especially when the events are somewhat tedious - enough for a short story or a film, not 12 episodes.
