That's not hacking. It's poor password controls. An ex-girlfriend or boyfriend of anyone at tvn could have done it. Or a disgruntled employee. Should be very easy to find the culprit or the staff member that allowed it to leak.

Edit. What I'm alluding to is the common practice of the responsible party suggesting it's not their fault by bringing in the word 'hack'. It's tvN's fault. They should stop being pathetic and take responsibility.

This fan has been waiting to watch LR and finds Viki (and other viewing options) to be too cumbersome, so I welcome…
Totally agree about Viki. I can tolerate them losing my progress, poor navigation etc, but not the childish subtitles. Subtitles are supposed to be discreet - yet they assault me with song lyrics interleaved with actual dialogue and stupid shout-outs. I stopped using it a year ago, haven't looked back so far.

netflix getting worse, lately they've added a lot of 'new' shows and movies but actually old, also a lot of good…
It's because of broadcast rights. If they pass on a drama they have to wait until the exclusive period elapses in each region, or they do a contract with Viki/whoever holds them. In a way it would be bad if Netflix held a monopoly - even though it's my favourite distributor by far. It would hold too much clout in Korea and have (even more) power to influence production decisions.

I'm just curious, why?
K-dramas lose their appeal if they do that. I love the culture... if I watch a Spanish drama, I don't want to see a patronising dumbed-down version... I want to see true Spanish culture. Same for everywhere. For a while back in the 80s/90s the UK tried to make a few films to pander to the US audience and they were universally hated because they were patronising, tedious and clearly saying "please give us your cash" like a charity. Who wouldn't hate that?
