Barbie wasn't publicised as a woke, feminist film, hence if made money by lying to women and girls that loved what Barbie stood for. Lying like you... $150bn? 😆

I don't care about your ethnicity or country, Asia's a huge continent. I didn't ask you to prove anything. I'm starting to pity you, your argument broke down a while back. Disappointed but not surprised to see you have nothing to back up the buzz words.

Japanese-American I assume. 3rd or 4th generation? You young, woke Americans are pretty unstable in the head, stop being a loser. Using your ethnicity as leverage? Your gender? Born in the USA but don't like it when you don't get special treatment? Just because something doesn't go your way doesn't mean misogyny is involved, it's your personality. 🫰
Idk if people are purposely ignoring your point but I agree with everything you said, imagine how good a drama…
They are, watch more. It depends on the story, pick one where the lead-lead character is female. Try Hwang Jin-yi, Ha Ji-won, it draws parallels with the modern world, set in a time where male and female roles in society were clearly drawn. That's a strong female lead if ever I saw one, a proper one. (Not like the lazy, literal modern American interpretations of 'strength'.)

Also, men don't complain when they see a nude man, men are easy going. Women complain when they see... what?.... a beautiful woman. What do feminists hate? How dare a beautiful woman show enough flesh to raise the heartbeats of their men? I saw an actress in a bikini scene the other day. I love her, she's a true heroine. That's what I regard as a strong woman...

No. You haven't seen enough drama to know what you're talking about - why not try a daily or weekend drama to get some perspective? Or a drama focusing on women?
Privilege? Buzz word. Do men have the 'privilege' to be first in line on a building site? Not all men by the way - only the ones that have the skills - it's about the individual. The man that got turned away doesn't whine about the contractor hating men.... that would be stupid.
Women have equal opportunity in South Korea, in general, like most economically and politically similar countries.
You must observe cultural differences in other countries.
Don't try to blanket-apply your culture's ideology on others'.
Misogyny: another buzz word 🥱, are you a drone, do you still have individual thought? What makes me a mysoginist - is that how your group responds to opposing views... throw the buzzword insult?
It's you who's wrapped up in Critical Social Justice (Marxist) ideological thinking patterns that turn you into a drone that sees only groups with singular identity. You're so woke you're asleep. You see problems that don't exist. Your indoctrination allows no tolerance for individuals, circumstances or alternative thought.
Think of all the beautiful women in the world you've damaged by calling their employers or admirers 'misogynists'.
South Korean dramas are popular for many reasons, one being that they're beautiful. There's a fan culture like no other that you don't see so much in the West. Compare a modern western drama or movie, there's no fan that wants to follow those political uglies, they run away from them, so scary. Go figure.

It's common discuss the male leads when interviewing the female lead. It's common to discuss the female leads when interviewing the male lead.
Ignoring your nonsense about 10x harder etc. it all depends on the individual... not *women*, some men face the same difficulty, it all depends on the *individual*.
You sound upset that Korean actresses are pretty and feminine, yet also possess female intelligence and female strength. Feminism isn't needed everywhere - by tipping the scales you'll take something away from the most attractive women - after all, that's the objective of the feminist movement, where attractive women are told what to do and think by less-attractive women.
Just find a place where you can be happy, stop finding trouble where there isn't any, grow up, accept that life's not fair or equal and live your best life... without undermining others in the process.
Stop treating all women as one and the same, everyone's different.
I'm quite shocked to hear this, since New York City, when I lived there, was typically very welcoming to people…
What do you mean by inclusion... Include only people that think like you and exclude the rest? You don't have the right to apologise on behalf of a city that didn't nominate you as its spokesperson. Are you mental?
The absurdity of treatment towards korean women in this industry is unfathomable. Kim Hyeyoon had build a very…

It's a human condition not limited to the West. Treating people as groups instead of individuals is also wrong...…
I hear you. If you were a real doctor you'd probably take a more scientific approach to your research... but I agree in general, the baseline Asian culture is higher than the baseline in the West. It stems from education. The West has contributed culturally to the world, like everywhere else, but it's generally more uncivilised than the far east. We (in the West) don't seem prepared to learn either - that's the difference in education, I can testify that my education in Geography and History was vastly inadequate, only focusing on certain inferior aspects of other countries, never the superior aspects. Apart from academic education, we also lack in social education, life skills, respect, personal responsibility and so on. Edit ....at the baseline level, which is what determines the attitude of a culture.
