I knew that Yamazaki sang it, but I didn't know that the name of the song is Frito. I liked the way Sensei handled…
It's always such a wonderful thing when art can open a conversation within our society, and this is definitely one of those shows that can do that. Being that it is a BL, it's reaching a niche audience sure, but one that's also getting to the queer community that seriously needs to talk about this subject.
If you didn't catch it, that catchy opening song in the show is called Frito and it is sung by our handsome older bachelor. I absolutely adored this show. I'm gonna be 43 in a couple short weeks, which means I'm honestly closer to his age than I am to Ishida. I've been in a May-September relationship before, and it did get more than one stare and unkind comment, we were also a same-sex couple. Then, I was in Ishida' shoes. These days, I find myself realizing that I may someday be in Sensei's. Love is Love. 💕
ok ok, i have a theory. i think they originally edited the show to be released as shorter episodes online, like on YouTube. but for whatever reason it didn't. and they're releasing it now as an anthology. can anyone verify that?
this is a cute show, but it is insanely looong. 47 minutes my ass. Episode 2 alone is 1:30 hours. No wonder there's only 8 episodes. If they would have made it 12 episodes, it wouldn't have seemed so damn boring. it's like a marathon. Just when your enjoying an emotional high with the characters, it's like "oh crap, why is there still 3/4 of ths show left? the heck? whoever made that decision needs their head examined.
i kinda sorta totally did the same thing to a couple friends in high school (hooked them up together when i was…
🤣🤣 go ahead. judge away. I'd kick my 16 year old self if i could. at least i got to guilt trip my college yesterday at my local pride fest about not having any LGBT support when i was a student. 😼🤌
Same and have put it on hold on the 1Oth episode so I don't read the comments and can focus on other dramas.
i do admit, i started watching asian dramas because i got sick of the lgbt couples being an afterthought in american and british shows (european shows are iffy, the movies do a good job, but most of them art art films and are either too short or insanely too long). I've only just started focusing my attention towards the "traditional kdrama". lol I'm discovering some pretty funny worlds here too, experimenting in the worlds of "traditional Tdrama, "traditional Jdrama", and "traditional Cdrama" too. Because I do realize that not everything has to be gay. 🤣🤣🤣 As for news. 😮💨💀 I have banned myself from it, for the time being. Except the tiny blurbs of international news I get from podcasts in the morning after my alarm goes off. It's nearly 3am now where I'm at, and I have no intention of going to sleep yet. I'm going to finish episode 11 if it kills me. (that and I'm in too much pain to sleep. 😅)
Definitely has a psych disorder probably stemming from his fkd up father but also uses multiple drugs so the hallucinations…
I'm not quite old enough, or experienced enough, to remember the height of the AIDS pandemic. But even the the sheltered life I lived, it still lives rent free in my mind. (i was born in 81, so i was there.) I don't know if this character is going to meet a happy ending, or if any of them will, but we can always hope for the best. 🤞

i have adhd and no life, so I'm watching like 18 dramas a week. 🤷 I'm absolutely loving having access to more than just American tv right now. I never should've been allowed to have Internet. 🤣🤣
The first 2 episode 28 year old ML act like like 14 year old boy...so fking childish...there will be character…
24, 28. same difference. the male human brain does not stop stop developing until mid to late twenties. they literally continue experiencing hormonal changes until this point. 😮💨
