A lot of people seem to be giving the bandit arc a lot of hate. I don't really think it's as bad as most people make it out to be. I still enjoyed watching it. But, I will say it does feel somewhat out of place/unnecessary? Unless a second season is released, I don't think there's any way to give this drama a proper conclusion without it feeling terribly rushed. There isn't that much room left for Ning Yi entering the palace politics etc. Anyway, we'll see. Maybe this can still be salvaged.
Can someone explain to me exactly what days episodes are released? How many episodes are released per day? And, at roughly what time are they released? I'm kinda just going crazy checking websites to see if new episodes have been released. The airing times that are shown on the MDL page aren't always accurate it seems. Thanks in advance.
This isn’t even a top drama in quality or plot but i love it because ITS SO ADDICTING complete different vibe…
100% agree. This isn't like a top drama with a brilliant plot or anything particularly unique. It's simply just very fun and enjoyable to watch. I pretty much check every night to see if they've uploaded new episodes. I'm loving it.
I wanted to watch it, but ... why did they cast the same actors as in Joy of Life? It looks bad, they were brother…
Bruh... They're actors. Their job is to portray different characters in different dramas. Just because they portrayed siblings in one drama, it doesn't mean you have to take that into consideration when talking about an entirely new drama, which has no links to the previous drama. I don't mean to be rude, but I just don't think that this is a valid reason to stop someone from watching the drama.
I will highly recommend watching the anime version, I binged through the current 143 sub episodes on youtube.
Yeah. I'm obsessed with the anime and I watch every episode asap. Unfortunately, this didn't really live up to the anime for me. I don't really want this to come across as hate though. I just couldn't keep watching at some point. What do you think about the drama?
I hope all that talking about separation wasn't foreshadowing...
Yeah. I was thinking the same thing. I hope it wasn't, but it more than likely was. I don't think they'll be going back home for a long time. Also, I think Ning Yi and Tan'er will be separated for a good while, which will be unfortunate and sad to see, but, at the same time, it's kind of necessary to move forward the plot and introduce new characters.
I started watching this with no real expectations. I was bored and just wanted something to pass the time. BUT, damn this is surprisingly fun to watch. I don't really know the exact reason, but I love the main leads. I loved them in Joy of Life too. In both dramas, their personality and appearance just draws me into liking them. Song Yi is absolutely stunning, and she has a very warm and likable personality. She's adorable around the male lead. Guo Qi Lin doesn't really have the typical looks of a main lead, but he's still attractive in my opinion. Although I don't really know how to put it into words, I'll try. His face just gives hints of him being a intelligent, humorous, slightly annoying and fun person lol. His character is pretty much exactly like this, and he's always fun to watch. The plot is actually quite interesting, which I didn't really expect to be the case. Anyway, for me personally, this drama is very easy to watch and I find it very enjoyable. I don't know if it'll keep being this good, but I would definitely give this drama a shot if you haven't already.
I'm on episode 7 right now. Does the male lead, Xie Yun, ever become a top martial artist? I mean like one of the best in terms of fighting. In episode 7, there's a mention to something like his force being gone?
somika might be annoying, but in the 3rd eps, she's quite cute. if i was Wat, i'd like her instead of Nuth.
100% agree. In the earlier episodes, Somika is way more interesting and likable than Anusaniya. She's actually very cute and has good chemistry with Sattawat. She's just better in everyway, except for when her jealous psycho side comes out.
I could write a massive essay about the way I felt about this drama, but I'll keep it short. In the end, I liked and enjoyed watching this drama. However, this drama is primarily built on one element that I hate so much, which is misunderstandings. It literally felt like watching a never ending cycle of misunderstandings. Thai dramas definitely know how to grind your gears, but still keep you interested enough to watch the drama.
yeah. I was also hooked by the series of Soul Land anime
It's just so damn good, but I wish I never started it. Waiting every week for one episode which is only 15-20 minutes long is just torture. I would have much rather waited until it was all finished, and then binge watch all the episodes together. Too late for that now tho.
Xiao Wu really died in animated epi 134? How about Novel? She died? I heard Tang San had a daughter in novel.…
I haven't read the novels. The people who have read the novels have commented that the animated series has stayed true to the novels so far. Xiao Wu sacrifices herself for Tang San in episode 134, but will be resurrected by him later on. I've heard they do have children later on too. The novels are quite long. People say that the animated series will have enough content to keep going for another year or two.
Just watched episode 134 of Douluo Dalu, which is the animated series based on the same novels that this drama is based off. It was actually insane. Gave me goose bumps for so long. It's so good. Unreal! The Douluo Dalu animated series is by far one of best things I've watched in my life. I really wish this drama will be just as good, and it stays true to the novels just like the animated series. Can't wait to watch it tbh.
Really? Maybe I have to get to the end to see her shine. I'm only on episode 30 and really can't say I'm impressed.…
Her character wasn't really the best in this drama tbh. She makes a lot of stupid, questionable and straight up irrational decisions, especially near episode 30. Her character was really inconsistent, which was kinda annoying, because there were moments I really liked her, and then suddenly, I disliked her again. Her insane acting can really be seen in the scenes where she is serious, angry, shy, surprised, sad or heartbroken. I feel like the only time when her 'acting' isn't the best is in the overly happy scenes. I think that is more to do with the fact that this kind of personality does not suit her character. It feels out of place with everything else that is happening in the drama at the moment, and everything that has happened in the past. As I said before, I find her character to be very inconsistent. That kind of acting was perfectly fine in Joy of Life because it suited the personality of Lin Wan'er. And, yes, Darren Wang really did an amazing job. I think he displayed a lot of range and versatility, which will be great for him getting the roles he wants in future projects.
I'm pretty sure all the free sites upload subtitles roughly around the same time. Viki releases a subtitled episode, and then the free sites upload the same episode within a day or so. Try 'dramanice.so' it tends to be quite quick with the uploads.
