Personally, I've seen worse (I don't think this is as bad as the confusingly popular TharnType), but I agree with…
I agree, it's definitely not the worst but not the best. It started strong but at some point the endless reliance on miscommunication and lack of communication just made me exhausted. I just finished ep. 11 & 12, I watched them in double speed and still ended up skipping forward through most of it. NuNew was really good though, even if his character left a lot to be desired.
Nuea is committed only in so far as Toh remains a simpering, spineless wimp. This is FAR from an equal partnership…
It's not about the type of photos that were posted. It's about the fact that someone went out of their way to create an account called tj.go.to.hell (TohJao) and then probably proceeded to encourage a toxic bullying session making fun of them out of jealousy. Of course they shouldn't let things like that bother them, that kind of behavior says more about the low life people who have nothing better to do in their lives, but most people would be upset about something like that. They might of even been selfies they shared on their own social medias that the person who made the account collected. It's one thing to post silly or unflattering photos of yourself online. It's another for a stranger to randomly collect them all and start a community based on pointing out all your flaws, both real or perceived.
Collage i understand it as HS... like they were still saving for his collage founds...Anyway - what was age of…
Chay is still in high school in the book and the tuition Porsche is paying is for an expensive high school because he didn't want his brother to have to leave the school he'd always gone to and that he graduated from as well.
THE ENDINGGGG. I loved seeing Fah and Thorn take that shot together, and I screamed when they did it. They built…
I had to watch that rebound shot twice, it was perfect! lol I agree with your assessments. I mean I probably wouldn't chuck Dome off a cliff, probably just a small hill π I'm softhearted lol
"I didn't sign up for a basketball drama" wtf? Basketball is literally the second tag on this series, its genre is also sports. If you're watching this, you did indeed sign up for a basketball drama.
You sound about as stupid as a bigot watching a bl and being like "I didn't sign up to see guys being gay, eww"
I will repeat this cuz maybe you did not read the thread. As I said below, many movies about sports do not show…
Thank you for saying this!!!!! That's what I was thinking! "dedicated sites for that type of things" I'm so glad someone actually said it haha! I wanted to soooo bad but I was trying to be nice π€£ I personally love that we're seeing bl series that are more on par of what you'd find for straight couples. And there is not 'endless' scenes of the basketball match. There is a perfectly acceptable amount that you'd expect from a basketball show. I mean, that argument is so invalid. Sports shows don't show the actual sport its about?? The first thing that comes to mind is The Cutting Edge, a sports movie about figure skating. The whole movie builds up to the Olympic competition and you can bet they show lots of scenes of them competing in this competition they built up to. They didn't go "oh well the audience can go watch the real Olympics if they wanna see figure skating, this movie is all about the main characters smooching"
I wasn't sure about this series at first but after watching episode 3 I'm glad I kept watching! At first Toh's…
Also! I agree with a lot of other people and hope that eventually Toh will stop living in his head so much and interact better with the real Nuea standing right in front of him. The way he takes so much time to take things or after taking them just stands there and internally squees over it is sooooo hard to watch lol. I take back what I said about Nuea not being patient enough, he's a saint haha I would've been like 'boy, it's not that big a deal. I'll give you bags of stuff everyday if you promise to stop acting like that' ππ
I wasn't sure about this series at first but after watching episode 3 I'm glad I kept watching! At first Toh's actions were super off putting and he comes across as a little creepy. But it's like an innocent creepy, if that makes any sense? It seems to come from being super socially awkward and not understanding what is and is not socially acceptable when it comes to his crush. It's like whenever Nuea is involved or mentioned he loses all common sense lol.
However, you don't get the vibe from him that he has ill intentions towards anyone and is truly creepy. Someone commented below that they wouldn't be surprised if he was murdering small animals for fun and I can't disagree more. I think he is a good person that's just really really awkward.
Also, Nuea liking him back already? I wasn't expecting that lol. Of course I figured he'd eventually fall for him, I mean it's a BL lol, but I didn't expect he'd already be liking him. But he's really over here having his own code name and collecting stuff that's related to Toh! Also, Sky is right! Episode 3 part 3/4 has a timing issue with the subtitles during like the MOST important scene but it seems like Sky was giving him advice and saying that he needs to start being more inviting to Toh and I agree. Nuea said he'd do anything to make sure the person he likes trusts him but while he's super sugar sweet and patient to every other admirer that comes his way, he seems to lose patience with Toh super fast sometimes.
Did this new Bl series platforms have a meeting or something?? Non of the series that I've been waiting on is…
I swear they must have! They all got together and decided to exclude us lol. It seems several are airing right now without subs but hopefully that'll change. While we wait, if you haven't already read it, the English translation of this novel is available on MEB and it's good, the quality of the translation is good too!
Same! I also found it weird how his friend Dream could see spirits in the first place. Like, there was no solid…
Well Dream does say that once you do the ritual, you can see the ghosts. Then she says right before the ritual that she learned it when visiting Japan (or something like that), so we can assume she learned it, performed it and can now see them. The dream sequence was really abrupt and odd timing. It's like he woke up when he got snatched back from the railing and fell, but still had time to have a whole ass conversation with Phob. I'm assuming the bright light during the ceremony was the person we saw earlier talking to Phob and drinking the tea left by Phat's mom. Also, I don't think his dad left to become a monk. He said that his dad told him that before he became a monk, his grandmother visited him in his dreams. So it's probably him sharing something from his past with his son. I don't know a lot about it but apparently it's common to go through that process for Thai men when they are younger but it doesn't necessarily mean they stay a monk. I googled it real quick and it said that some just do it for a year as a right of passage type of thing.
Is the short version so much different from the orginal? If you miss something important? ππ»β€οΈ
I think it's just that it progresses more smoothly. There are little extra bits that kind of 'round out' certain scenes. Like for example, when Dream is doing the ritual she says in the uncut version where she learned to do it. Also, in the uncut version you see a little more of the interactions between the two leads when Phob keeps pressing play on the laptop and thus freaking out Phat. Overall it's an extra 20-ish minutes. For only $2.40/mo for the duration of the show I figure it's worth it.
How do I know which one is the uncut version, is the youtube one uncut or
If you go to the channel3+ site and sign up for the premium (its about $2.40/mo) you can watch the uncut version there with English subs. I watched both versions and the uncut is much better, the episode progresses more smoothly.
Made so much sense now that I watch the full uncut version. You will be lost and confused with certain things…
Same, after I saw your comment I signed up for the premium & watched the full episode. The cut version is watchable but feels choppy, the full version makes much more sense & feels more finished.
