I just saw that they changed her profile picture here ,🙂 I see her attending so many events here and there, and getting magazine covers. Good for her 👏👏 but where are the scripts? And yes she looks good for her age .
This drama was just fine on its own and it would have done very well regardless. I dont know why the powers to be behind it tried to manufactured SOME of its success. All it did is make people scrutinize it even more. Also some stans need to stop saying that " people are jealous of its success" . Personally I like BOTH leads and I have watched a few of their dramas prior to this which I loved. A lot of people know that a lot of the data from it are manufactured. People accidentally clicking the ad of the drama and it counting towards watching full dramas episodes is terrible.
Anyways, regarding this topic, with xianxia, wuxia....need make up imo but with historical dramas, I feel like a line needs to be drawn. It needs to have some semblance of " reality". Like how can you be a hardcore general and have pristine white skin with filter on in tough scenes? Not sure if this applies to this drama as I havent watched it yet. Some of these dramas abuse with too much make up or filter.
No ones loves this drama like Esther does. She even came back from Korea today with the cup sleeve that the drama fans did to promote it there when it was airing (she was holding it at the airport).
This is why it will never sit right with me how some of her so called fans dislike SAL ...even went as far as saying that they boycotted it and didnt watch it. You dont have to like every drama your fave does; I certainly dont like every drama that other of my fave actors do but I will never want said projects to fail or keep trash talking about it. How can you call yourself a fan when you behave like that?

Because it is not romance focused so the tags are accurate. From what I read, there is barely any romance in it. It is very character driven, focused on sports also and a psychological drama. I think that they using these pics to sell the drama.

It's the same thing that has been happening to Seven Tan since 2 or 3 years as well here. Her latest Drama started with 8.6 here but within a day or 2 it dropped to 8.0,7.9 to what it's now. At least it did extremely well on TV in China and others metrics so it's whatever but MDL ratings low-key deter or encourage people to watch a drama here.
Dilraba seems to be another One who's been hit with the same issue for the past few years here. There are a few specific actors here that are targeted by a lot of users here for whatever reasons.
You can say oh maybe their dramas haven't been as good, or maybe they need to pick better scripts......there are other actors or works that have worse or rather average offerings whose dramas reviews are not low rated as these 2 specific actresses here. I'm sure there a few others actors but these are the ones that I consistently see this happening 🫠🫠

She must have really good backings behind the scenes with some of these projects she's booking.You can just tell they're "trying to make her happen '". I have watched her in 2 previous dramas and I've not been impressed by her acting. I really don't know how they have her leading either. With some actresses maybe letting them play a supporting role in a few more dramas would really improve their acting before they transition to leading roles.
I have watched the Lead actor in that 12 years letter drama and he was very good. I think that I saw him in another highschool -ish drama. I forgot the name.
It seems like Dilraba is like another one of my favorite actress here where a lot of their dramas get massively down rated in masses by detractors. Let's see what happens until the end. This morning the ratings were at 8.6, now it's at 8.2.
Oh and Im so glad that this Drama will be coming to Viki. I'll be binge watching it once it ends.
