That's what I read too... it's so unfortunate that Xiao Yao became a collateral in all of this mess 🫤🫤🫤. With the way they released it and giving all the remaining episodes today to VIPs, you can tell that they just want to get rid of the drama and call it a day 😅😅

Tbh not all s+ projects are promoted really well. From what I read, it seems like there was an issue with a production house for this Drama ( went bankrupt... that's why the promotion was basically non existent.
Also iqyi is notable for being terrible with promotion.

We tend to get a new melon as soon as her Drama finishes airing so fingers crossed this month.

The Drama already ended today for VIPs? So technically 10 days? SMH.

I think that Xiao Yao did well all things considered. I see it n1 or in the Top 3 in a couple of metrics. It could have been an explosive Drama if it were promoted decently but like I said with everything this drama has to deal with , it did quite well.

With my destiny, it's not an idol drama, Seven is quite frankly the most noticeable face here, it is like a niche drama. It's not the type of drama that viewers on mdl tend to watch a lot. I'm not expecting much Promotion wise... it's Youku after all. I just hope that it gets a decent TV slot. It's the type of Drama that do very well with a TV audience/passerbys.
As for against the current, it's a Tencent drama so it'll have more than decent promo imo.

I think that I saw a similar comment. It sucks that Xiao Yao was the collateral in all of this. It explains why they split it on platforms like this...you can tell that they just wanted to make as much profit as they could...not caring about anything else. Also dropping all the episodes today for VIPs...you can tell they just want to get it over with...smh.

Awww 🫶🫶🫶. It is 1 of my favorite modern dramas EVER with 1 of the best chemistry; a comfort drama that I still rewatch.
Seven and Xu Kai are 2 of my fave actors too 🫶🫶.
I wouldn't say that it's underated and it did very well when it aired and won a couple of awards. Also if it's because of the MDL ratings here ....meh...I don't take a lot of these MDL ratings seriously. I still remember how 2 episodes didn't even air and quite a few people were already giving it very low ratings lol.

It's so interesting to me how popular he's in Korea especially....I see so many Korean fanpages of him on Twitter and Instagram....
It's not very often that you see a male C actor be this popular with Koreans.
Quite honestly if someone didn't tell me he Chinese, I would have thought that he is Korean. This is not meant to be offensive and I hope that no one takes it that way but he looks Korean.

It's a shame that the relationship between China and Korea is still so iffy .

I would have love to see so many collaborations between the actors of both countries.....just like Japan and Korea entered in a deal 2 or 3 years ago to produce more joints productions with both countries.

I bet he would have loved that too. He follows a lot of Korean Top actors on his old Instagram page ( that is now private). I also see him be a big fan of "emis" a popular Korean brand that a lot of artists in Korea wear....even outside of his barbeque in Hengdian there's a picture of Jennie ( 3rd generation IT girl) and Wongyoung (4th generation IT girl).

I'm watching this and I want to see what the hype is all about. I've heard so much about it...so far...good but it seems to progress so slowly 😩😩..Im at episode 7. Can someone spoil me on how is their chemistry or intimacy throughout the drama?

I also watching the other ML drama when destiny needs the demon and I'm enjoying that one so much so far.....( I paused this for that lol)...even though it's not the type of genre that I like to watch.

Why do I feel like you need to be in a certain type of mood to binge watch this drama?

I see some fans disappointed that road to success is rumoured to air in 6 months, June( saying that's too long to wait)....but think people. Isn't this drama centered around sports/soccer? It's clever to air it when the world cup is about to start .

In the meantime I hope that fans keep hyping Speed of love ( it only ended 2 weeks ago) while we wait for that drama and the other drama she'll start filming soon.

No IQYI just sucks in general promotion wise. It's just not the unclouded soul. I see it with their other dramas too.
IQYI was always the original platform and then tv too. I don't think the promotion fall mostly on CCTV.

Also this is the 1st fantasy drama in 5 years to air there and it's still an achievement that it's airing on national TV but I wished it had a better time slot...oh well. The last one that aired there at that slot too so I guess it's what it's.

The way I've seen so many people who don't even watch Cdramas or people who review mostly Kdramas ( on Instagram) talk about this drama and say how much they love it so much.
Prior to this drama and to some extent sniper butterfly no other dramas really held my attention last year.
Truly an unforgettable drama with 1 of the most beautiful, electrifying chemistry ever.

I hope that we get a reunion with them in the future or even in a reality tv show will be fine.

Here again to say that I miss them and the drama 🫤🫤🫶🫶🫶.

Dilreba is 1 of my favorite actresses and I am currently watching 1 of the ML dramas and finished the other one; he's a great actor. I also love his deep voice. Really exciting pair....I can't wait for this pairing 🙂🙂.

It's high-key a miracle imo that the unclouded soul is performing relatively well despite how dirty this drama has been done promotion wise.
Quite happy to see it n1 or in the top 3 of quite a few important data rankings.

Seven, Neo, all the actors involved and the production crew deserved better and to be promoted at least decently. IQYI just sucks promotion wise.

Binge watching it soon. I wished it was at least on Viki.
