I recently watched a 29 episodes C drama that aired in 10 days and ended and I thought it was worst and not enough days to enjoy/hype the drama but this was 1 is even worse because it's a almost 40 episodes dramas SMH.
The actors who work so hard on this drama and the production crew deserved better. I thought this when they wanted to air it and it looks like I was right...it seems like they just want to get rid of it and call it a day.

I have said it before and I'm going to say it again, my wish is for Seven to work more with Tencent or even Mango Tv dramas.
Just see how Abay was promoted or how they promoted against the current so much already and the drama isn't even close to be there yet. The sword and the brocade was well promoted too

Youku and Iqyi sucks as far as promotion goes 😒😒😒.
I don't have big hopes with the promo of my destiny either since it's a Youku drama and the last youku drama she did with them the promo was basically nowhere to be seen.....even worse than IQYI if you can believe it .
At least my destiny will be on tv and I hope that they find a prime time slot for her😒😒.

I really hope that we get a Melon of her next project now since Xiao Yao is about to end !!!

They're awful. They suck at promoting....I've seen it with their other dramas too but this one may be 1 of the worst yet from them SMH.

I don't think we are going to be have an offline event for this drama sadly. At least his other drama had a proper offline event a few days ago just when it was about to air.
It's whoever is behind the promotion of tus fault!!!

I've said it before and I've said it again that she should stay away from IQYI and youku. When I said it before some fans tried to be optimistic or said something like x let's Seven do what she has to do" but Promotion matters!!! These 2 platforms in particular are the worst at it !!! I've seen it with other dramas/actors!!!

There are the worst when it comes to promotion and it gets even worse with her since she's not a traffic actor.

I remember DilReba and legend of Anle ( youku) and how mad her fans were at the lack of promo or also Esther Yu recently with speed of Love with how IQYI basically left her to her own devices and she had to do promo that she could do on her own. They just sucks.

I had a bad feeling on how they were going to handle the release of this drama when they suddenly said that it'll air end of December when a few days prior to that they kept saying next year.


I don't mean to compare but Neo other drama had an offline event, they recently air the H6 episode when the drama is ongoing and now I just saw they released a photoshoot of the leads.... that's how it's meant to me !!!! This is how Abay was promoted!!! And guess what it's a Tencent drama.

They gave TUS an afternoon tv schedule ( basically useless imo...they could have kept it) and they're not making an effort to promote it at all. They're just going to air drop the rest of the final episodes and call it a day 💀💀💀💀💀.

This crew and Seven deserved better....how unfortunate. It's low-key a miracle that it's performing relatively well despite how dirty they have done this drama SMH!!!

Exactly!!! It takes 2 to tango. I don't understand people going crazy over their chemistry but in turns bash Esther..she's a big reason why they were able to create this chemistry. Also to Heyu 's credit, at least he credited her a lot for the drama, their hardwork.....
There are so many great actors out there but great chemistry isn't always a given....to be able to produce something like this is a team effort.

Sigh....I wished I could get a weibo account. I tried last year to follow some of my favorite C actors but in vain. It used to be easy to get an account a few years and I wished I did it as t that point:/

It has been lovely to see a lot of appreciation for mumu character here and Esther too in some comments.
I am glad that Heyu got a lot of attention from it but sometimes I feel like some lovers of the show discredit her or try to use the show to hate her.
Heyu is a talented actor but to depict that insane chemistry that so many people praise about this show, Esther has a lot to do with it. It's a team effort. It has to be reciprocated or there has to be something in the other actor that makes you perform to the best of your abilities chemistry wise..I don't like how some people tend to discredit Esther.

I swear I can't escape him everywhere I go on social media or maybe it's just my feed 🤣🤣🤣. Even a lot of people who don't usually watch Chinese Drama are hooked on this drama.

What does SVU and law and order have to do with Esther clothes in the drama and at a very minimum level a fluffy show. Some of you guys do too much!!!

It's 2026 seriously!!! I wished that people would stop making sweeping judgements on how women choose to dress!!!!

It's so hard especially because they split online platforms 😒😒.... youku but I'm still hoping that we can reach at least 8500🤞🤞

They need to broadcast this drama on TV and with a primetime slot!!!!! None of that nonsense that they did with Xiao Yao. These are the types of dramas that do very well with a Chinese TV audience.
I'm just being realistic by saying that it's not the type of dramas that get popular online. Also most of the supporting characters aren't that well known so it'll be Seven mostly carrying this Drama.
I don't even know how or if they'll promote it.
