It was a very anticlimactic ending for them especially after that kiss?! I think given a bit more time to adjust and acknowledge his feelings Can would definitely have accepted Tin and they would be great together.

Theory time: Chen Wen Hao used to be part of Tang Guo Dongs gang (which Chen Wen Hao has said) he went to prison for him. Then while in prison Tang Guo Dong started a relationship with Li Chen they got married in secret and had a child (Tang Yi). That's why they visited him in prison to try and explain maybe? Anyhow Chen Wen felt betrayed and vowed to kill them & their child so they gave up Tang Yi for adoption to protect him. When Tang Guo Dong found out that he had run away from his adoptive parents he scoured the streets until he found him and decided to took him home. That's also why he was trying to clean up the gang, so that he could be with Li Chen without it affecting her morales as a police officer. I might have missed stuff in translation and be completely wrong but it's a theory.

If this theory pans out then I think it's even more likely that they'll learn from the past and won't let it tear them apart giving us a happy ending. (I couldn't bear anything but a happy ending)

Half of me agrees the other half is dying waiting for the next episode. It's probably also a bonus that I can't binge the whole thing until 3am and then be dead at my desk the next day ????

This is why I don't usually watch airing shows, I'm going crazy over here waiting for the next episode, just watching the preview on loop!
