I was also frustrated, felt like the first 12 episodes were amazing but then it started getting really frustrating. By the end I'd sort of given up. It seemed like such a shame because I was really enjoying it.

Isn't it strange when you just take a random dislike to an actor! There's a particular actor (that everyone loves) but I just can't watch. It's annoying because I'm sure I miss out on a lot. I'm trying hard to watch some of his stuff to try and get over it.

I'm sorry you suffered health wise due to this, it sounds like you've been through a lot and are really strong. I've known a similar experience and would just like to say that if you do still love her, I think you should tell her. Your main concern was that you'd no longer be friends right? But now you don't seem to be friends anyways, so you've got nothing to loose. If it goes well that's great and if it doesn't then maybe you'll get the closure you need to fully move on.

Interestingly I remember reading that with the 2020 Olympics coming up, Japan had considered changing it. I don't agree that they should, I think it's a way to educate people on its history and maybe erase the thought of Nazis when seeing it. I like the idea that symbols or words that currently conjure painful memories/history could be changed to represent something completely different and good. Remove their power.

I completely agree, not just that but wasn't there a mention of him having like a bunch of babies & stuff in the past? I don't know the ending kind of ruined this for me, as if the whole romance didn't really matter to either of them in the end.

I don't really agree but I have noticed a shift towards the romance as a focus rather than his mission to find out why they were attacked & his birth and stuff. I'm sure that they will probably switch back, but personally I really enjoy them developing the relationships and romance. It's all hilarious.
