Good things choi ji woo confirmed to cameo in CLOY so 99.99999% the wish will come true
** only read if you're up to the last episode ** That'll probably happen when they try to bring Jung Hyuk back. Didn't Se Ri say they were neighbors? Or am I remembering wrong?
Can anyone give me a clue about the " Untamed Special Cut" now airing. thanks
It is a condensed version of the show, fits it all into 20 episodes. They have also put in some new/different scenes here and there too. If you've watched The Untamed already and are looking to rewatch I think it's a great idea because you basically get to rewatch all the best bits and more Wei Wuxian X Lan Zhan. Personally I think you loose too much for this to be a good idea to watch as an alternative.
I am so, so, so, SO FREAKING TIRED of writers taking the lazy, unimaginative way out of ending a BL-series: killing…
I loved this show it was a 10 for me until the ending. There were so many things wrong with the ending. Obviously the random death being one of them. But everything after that made no sense either?! Also the whole denial of being gay after and perpetuating the whole 'gay for you' trope nonsense like bisexuality doesn't exist or doesn't deserve to be explored. I think it's obvious to most people how confusing and unfulfilling the ending was, even if you are going with killing off a character at least do it well & not in a way that just pisses people off but actual makes them feel something and gives it some deeper meaning.
My question is rather WHY THE HELL did In fall for Korn? Cause he was the 'bad guy' which is supposed to be attractive?
I think it started off as probably, ooh he's hot & maybe even a little bit paternal like he wanted to look after him because everyone avoided him? Then got to know him & how sweet a person he was (the birthday stuff and saying he'd search for him in the next life and generally being romantic and loving).
I loved the Mom in this episode, so lovely to see a parent in a LGBT show just completely not give a shit about it. Like 'hi my son's boyfriend, love each other and be happy, come visit soon, see ya'.
my only issue with this show is i feel that they made Pharm too shy, he is shy and easily embarrassed and a bit…
I love the show too but I agree I think it would be fine to play it shy but it does come across as though he doesn't want to be physical rather than just embarrassed. Especially after that first kiss I'd imagine he'd feel more comfortable. It's not stopping me enjoying the show though, probably just being greedy haha
Thank you I agree. I would have brought in bisexual but these series just never seem to address that reality.…
Completely. If Hao was like 'I'll never be able to love again' that kind of statement is fine, and makes sense to me with not being able to commit to another relationship (the one with a woman too). It's done in BL alot, in some cases I can kind of get the thinking behind it & the good intentions (of what I imagine is a straight writer) the whole, I'm not in love with a gender I'm in love with the person, the problem is that this can easily be turned into 'it's just a phase' or 'gay for you' with bad execution, completely ignoring the whole spectrum of sexuality.
I do hate the 'gay for you' trope it is so old & just wrong. It's denying that bisexuality exists. I have known someone who all her life had never been attracted to a man and only had relationships with women, she met a man, fell in love and now they are married and have 2 kids. That doesn't mean she's now straight, sexuality is complex. I can totally buy that Yu was the first guy Hao had been attracted to & after Yu died Hao started a relationship with a woman, where I get really annoyed is that there was absolutely no need for any conversation about 'not being gay'. He is bisexual. I loved this drama until the last episode (I also don't like that they killed Yu), I'll never trust the History Series again. It's such a shame.
The series ended differently than the book, in the book they just got together and lived happily ever after. But…
Thanks, I've just re watched it and I can't believe I didn't even notice he was wearing a different outfit! In my head they are definitely together at the end.
I just finished this, can someone please confirm what it meant when wanji said 'wei ying' but then when he turned around we didn't get to see why he had come back? I can make up my own ideas but is there anything in the books or something? I hope I'm making sense, this was an amazing drama and my brain is just on fire right now.
