So that she wouldn't keep coming back to him and just be with Jin Zhao. And they could protect and nurture the…
But even if he had 3 years, he still needed YJZ to bond with Qi so that after BLH leaves, they can be together. Also, there's that thing with the blue glowing stone. Chastisement Stone or something.
Some of my questions were answered (EDIT - 30/1/24) 1) Why was Qi brought up by BLH & his family ? Qi was taken as hostage because her mother needs to be kept in a special environment so that she doesn't go berserk. Also, the survival of the Yu clan depends on it.
2) Why did BLH get injured and how?
3) Why is Qi's mother demonic? She's inhabiting the body of the previous Queen of the Yu clan and has consumed Qiyuan pearls for her survival + more
4) Why did the Hengdao Sect use so many innocent lives for those pearls, running the Qiyuan sect in secret? To subdue and keep Qi's mother in a time loop sort of arrangement.
5) What is the purpose of the Guardians of the Nine Springs? They maintain the balance of the Six realms which has now been disturbed because the objects have been forcibly used by some Guardians.
6) Why did Xian Qing give half his powers away?
7) How did he come to live with Ming Xiu and her Master?
This show is definitely keeping me on my toes. It's like trying to solve a jigsaw puzzle, a very complex one ππ
(P.S. I'm shipping YJZ & Qi but I still feel so bad for BLH) π₯²π₯²
I prefer couples who already have a friend/partner relationship than those who have just met in the first episode.
Oh so beautifully summarised. Thank you π And yes, this unique chemistry is what hooked me to the CP. Plus the fact the XK & YSX are such talented actors ππ
trailer for episode 28 mostly confirms my theory except I got one part backwards
@whoissilmoy Thanks so much for explaining Qi's mother's behaviour. I was kinda confused as to the dual personality. In episode 16 0r 27, they talk about how Qi's mother was going to Ascend and the Queen gave up her life force to save the Yu clan. I wish they'd elaborate more in that episode.
This scene, I love love love sooo much, especially with that ost: https://twitter.com/makikialike/status/1748764462427857074
Wow! Thanks 4 the clip. Have to wait until tomorrow for the episodes but this is incredible. Just emotions and such realism in their expressions ππ₯²π
Bracing myself for all the pain the next episodes are gonna bring.
And we just had 1 kiss, to use as a band-aid for the bleeding β€οΈβπ©Ή

But seriously, I think Ming Xiu checked her pulse to assure that Qi was okay.

But I'm sure they're gonna give us a well-rounded show. π
